Yep, because having a marketable difference from your competitor is always a bad thing, isn't it?

For the love of...the ring is fine. It has become part of TNA's identity, leave it be.

While I have gotten used to the 6 sided ring and I barely notice it.... I agree with Hogan. The 6 sided ring adds absolutely nothing.

It is an instantly recognizable difference from just about every competitor TNA could have. It's something that you see and can pretty much instantly know "That's a TNA ring". Maybe it doesn't make a HUGE difference to the in-ring product, but it makes them different, which, in the wrestling world, is good.

I'm beginning to think that this is the makings of a huge work/angle. At this point, the 6 sided ring *is* TNA. And Hogan wants to get rid of it? What next, does he want a blurred WWF logo at the head of the entrance ramp?

It's just something that I don't even notice but when someone brings it up I know I'd rather have the 4 sided ring. I really don't think it adds anything. I really think that the big TNA banners on the side are enough recognition. Does it take away something? Not much really but the traditional 4 sided ring just seems "normal" to me. The wrestling and writing is gonna bring in the viewers.... Not a bunch of stupid sides

I've never really liked the six sides. I've only gotten used to it. Though it would kill Lockdown which has been one of their more consistently good ppvs.

I'm with Hogan on this one. I like TNA, but I think a vast majority of American, as well as other international promotions, are used to a 4-sided ring. And besides, TNA was a 4-sided ring federation before iMPACT. I say go 4-sides.

Knowing his proclivity to exaggerate, Hogan will probably tell the rest of TNA management something like this:
"Listen Brothers! We need to change that 600 side ring, Brothers!"

I have never liked the 6 sided ring. To me, it's always ended up being more awkward than anything and I'd welcome a change to a typical 4 sided ring.

For the love of...the ring is fine. It has become part of TNA's identity, leave it be. Losing has become a part of the NY Mets identity... don't you think they'd like to change it? We've exhausted every option why TNA isn't latching on with new viewers over the last few years... maybe the non-traditional ring is the reason the casual fan will not get interested in their product?

Remember when they originally made the change, they played it up as such as big deal. I remember talking about how the six sides of steel was more brutal than a standard cage match due to the angles producing less give.
The problem is that no one talks about it. Why it makes a difference.
Personally, I'm just used to it. Changing it wouldn't have any impact.

They could just change it to cages and Hell in a cell type structures A ppv of "every match is a cage match" doesn't sound as good as "bringing out the six sides of steel." But that could just be me. Personally I'd love Lethal Lockdown to have two rings since it's supposed to be their war games and to give more room for action in the ring for my viewing pleasure. And since two rings
