I'd be much more apt to give TNA a chance if they got a normal ring. The six-sided one just doesn't do it for me.

I don't know gang. I'm gonna have to give Wrestlinginc.com the benefit of the doubt here. They were the ones that broke the story about Paul London urinating in coffee pots backstage at shows in retaliation for his lack of push, which led to his departure in the WWE awhile back.

Wrestling Inc. also reported that Eugene got crabs from a prostitute on purpose then filled a garbage bag full of his pubes and filled the divas locker room with them when he found out he was getting released a 2nd time

I actually like the 6 sided ring. Sure it's mainly just aesthetic, but still -- I like it. I do wish the wrestlers would innovate with the 6 sides a bit more though. The last move that I felt truly made use of the 6 sides was Monty Brown's pounce. He and his opponent each ran off into ring sides that were not parallel. Then when they collided, it really seemed like a better collision due to the angle. I know he did it in WWE too, but it never looked quite right to me. Anyway my point is that the current TNA guys should try to come up with more moves that have the 6-sided ring in mind. THAT is what needs to change. Not the ring itself.

Cool, I got two in there. The Christian one stands out with Hulk Hogan.

I've never liked the 6 sided ring. It's one of things that stops me watching TNA

I love how nobody ever complains about it and then as soon as Hogan says it everybody jumps on the bandwagon and is now saying "I agree get rid of it" why only speak up now? I can't speak for anyone else, but from the moment I saw the 6 sided ring, I stated that I didn't like it. Believe me, Hogan's opinion on something isn't going to have any affect on mine.

I hated it at the start It would just become repetitive and pointless after that

I have no problem with the 6-sided ring. The main problem for me is the arena that they use. I'd like to see them try lowering the lights on the crowd so that all you could see is what was happening in the ring. Similar to what the WWE did in the 80's.

The layout does not leave any space around the ring for action or camera crew, leaving most of the recording to the 2 hard cameras and a couple of handhelds at the entrances.

Um, this is because the show IS WCW Worldwide in production terms (filmed at a small studio in Universal Studios Florida, just like Worldwide was).

While I have gotten used to the 6 sided ring and I barely notice it.... I agree with Hogan. The 6 sided ring adds absolutely nothing. I disagree. It is an instantly recognizable difference from just about every competitor TNA could have. It's something that you see and can pretty much instantly know "That's a TNA ring". Maybe it doesn't make a HUGE difference to the in-ring product, but it makes them different, which, in the wrestling world, is good. I completely agree, it doesn't make a HUGE difference... but it is different and that's good

If they really want to stand out they should go to a THREE sided ring.

I thought it was silly at first, but now I really. really like it. It's just....different. When they have good matches in it (Angle/Wolfe from TP, Joe/Lashley from BFG), it makes me feel like I'm watching a fresh and exciting new wrestling product.
