Scott Hall and Tommy Dreamer can feud over the last pork chop. I think Awesome Kong would win that battle.

Bischoff....Hogan....Hall....and Nash. Together again. I'm gonna predict there will NOT be an Old World Order reunion. In fact, I predict Hall won't even make it Orlando on January 4th because he thinks there's 32 days in December.

Guys, what do you expect? They've been trying to build the company around AJ, Joe, Daniels, Beer Money, and the casual joe off the street doesn't give a rat's patoot because they don't know who these guys are. I know they already have Angle and Foley and a few other big names, but you have to have more of these established names to pull in the casual viewer who hasn't watched in years. It's like local bands. You WANT to do nothing but play your own music and get yourself over for who you are, but you almost always have to play a handful of covers to get people interested and in the door. Then when you have them hooked with the covers, you smack them upside the head with your own home grown originals. I don't know that Hall is the "big name" to haul in Joe Schmo, but it's a start. This was the excuse when they kept the title on Jarrett instead of giving it to Raven in the early days. This was the excuse given when iMPACT debuted and they put the title on Jarrett. This was the excuse given when they hired Booker T, the Dudleys, Kevin Nash, Mick Foley, Rhino, Bobby Lashley, Christian Cage and Kurt Angle. And all the while, AJ and Daniels have been there, ditto James Storm, Robert Roode's going on 4 years or so, and Joe's well into his 5th year. And yet, here we are, years later, having had all these "proven names" riding on top of the promotion ... and TNA is still based out of a soundstage in a theme park, struggles to fill 5000 seat venues on their infrequent road trips, can't afford to do regular live TV, and still draws between a .9 and 1.2. So ... tell me ... how many more years do these "youngsters" like AJ and Daniels and Joe and the rest of their up-and-coming talent have to "pay their dues" while the usual gang of old men take up time on the card, giving these guys ample time to check out their contracts and book flights to Stamford? How many more "veterans" who are well past their prime will TNA have to waste money on and watch the ratings do absolutely nothing at all before they see it isn't having a big name that brings in fans ... it's having a consistently entertaining product? Jed Shaffer ~But by all means, TNA, go with the strategy that's worked SO WELL for you for the past 7 years. See where it gets you.

I dont think any wrestling organization needs an excuse to hire Christian or Kurt Angle.

Well on the bright side, if they do an nWo thing and have them say "TNA sucks," we'll know its a shoot and not just a storyline, thats for sure

Well, it actually has. They're a financially secure, profitable wrestling company that's in no current danger of going out of business. Where was ECW after seven years? One year away from bankruptcy.

Well, it actually has. They're a financially secure, profitable wrestling company that's in no current danger of going out of business. Where was ECW after seven years? One year away from bankruptcy. Yup. Sure has. They haven't broken 1.3 EVER, they still run out of an amusement park, and can't afford weekly live TV. After 7 years, they may not be this close to bankruptcy, but my point is, they've treaded water, and they seem to be happy about it. And signing Scott Hall isn't going to be the missing piece of the puzzle; in fact, it's going to take away TV time from the one thing this company has going: fresh new stars. But yes, by all means, continue with this business plan, Dixie. Enjoy running on a treadmill. Be the LA Clippers of the pro wrestling world. Jed Shaffer ~I'd rather be ECW at this point than TNA. At least they were selling out venues and had still had a buzz. Jed Shaffer ~

Well, it actually has. They're a financially secure, profitable wrestling company that's in no current danger of going out of business. This is true. It was also true about three or four years ago. They've held themselves effectively in limbo for years. If nothing else this Hogan move is an attempt to break out of the self-imposed rut they've put themselves in. Yet on the other hand it's playing right into that still. Interesting times though.
