Why doesn't TNA do the occasional outdoor show? It would be a nice change of pace from the cramped iMPACT! Zone.

If TNA wants to be like WCW, then I demand they do Spring Break Impact.

First of all I'm a huge mark for the outdoor shows. It was one of the best things about WCW.
Oh and another vote for Spring Break Impact, I'd love to see that! They could book the same place that WCW used, floating ring in the pool and everything.

Didn't Kevin Sullivan throw Benoit into the water back in 96 or 97 or something like that? That was cool.

I remember Nash got thrown into the drink once, I remember Hall and Nash were drunk on one of those shows - that was so funny.

Van Hammer I think, tried throw someone into the pool, when he wasn't suppose to, or maybe he was trying to be thrown into the pool, I don't remember, It was on Botchamania. The pool spot was reserved for Kevin Nash.

It must of just been a really good match between Sullivan and Benoit then although I could have sworn one of them got thrown into the water.

Awesome idea to have an outdoors show. I say they can do it every once in a while.

Scott Hall: "Yeah, I'm going to get thrown in the pool, make sure nobody else does" "I meant rehab, are you going in to rehab?" Hilarious/sad.

Someone go Twitter Dixie about this. Spring Break is coming up, it would be a cool way for them to get a bunch of exposure. It's a great idea. I don't have an account but the folks who do should drop her a line, she seems to actually read a few.

The original Great American Bash. Dusty Rhodes and Jim Crockett had thier fingers on the pulse of thier market. Flair mentioned in his book that they booked RFK and didn't seel out. OK but they did sell out Legion field, Memorial in Baltimore, Charlotte, The Freaking Orange Bowl and just about every place they played during those shows. WWF used to do wrestlefest (86-89 maybe?)every summer with a decent sprinkling of outdoor shows. TNA could draw a decent number at a small college team's football stadium and on TV it'd look great even if it was half paper

I don't know if it's true about drawing in a smaller arena. Wasn't Bound for Glory in a small arena, like 5000 seats and TNA still had to paper half the place?

Forget indoors or outdoors. TNA should do a show... at the center of the Earth.

I love outdoors shows, but dang, nowadays I'd like to see them do a show outside of Orlando.

Totally! I'd take anything that looks different nowadays.
All the new millennium arenas look the same. Add to that, WWE uses the same set for every show. Gimme biker rallies, beaches and spring break clubs!
