OHHHHHH YEAH! This was another thought I had too. After Shawn came back, he asked "What new stars have you pushed?", and the answer was none. Not quite - the answer was Legacy, and they became DXs personal bitches. The return of The Beast Shad Gaspar sounds good. JTG should start looking for indy dates. Considering how often JTG has been used in singles action lately (especially the last two Royal Rumbles,the run up to the Summerslam feud, even facing CM Punk last week), and how Shad seeming is never trusted to, JTG becomes the breakout star, and Shad gets moved to Raw and becomes the Red brand's Mike Knox. Shad's been holding JTG back for months. So does Vince still "give up" on Swagger? He sure did. I remember the Newz sites reporting that, and how they had no faith in him to work a live match - the day before he had that 15 minute minute Raw match with Cena. You know if there is a hair vs. mask match at Extreme Rules. I could see this one being the one Rey finally loses. Mostly since he won at Wrestlemania, and it just seems like he needs something new. Well, Rey needs time off for surgery. He loses the mask, and comes back with face paint. Or a mask. We know what WWE continuity is like. |

Crap
How can I buy into a guy who's jobbed to Santino in recent months and competed on Superstars more than Raw as the new World Champion.
Plus the start of his MITB Push began with him failing to cash in on Cena then losing a pinfall later in the night to a guy who isn't even champion.
Yes, it got the shock value definitely but what does it do for the Jericho/Edge feud?

The whole cashing in on a prone opponent has become kinda stale IMO. They had the right idea with Kennedy. Give him a monster push over a year. Unfortunately he got injured.

I was shocked as hell when he won MITB at 'Mania. Now him winning the WHC is even more shocking. It's great to see someone new get the world title. Congrats to Jack Swagger! Hopefully he'll hold the title for a very long time (also, I'm sick of the world titles changing every month).

Jericho as champ has been awesome. And I see nothing special at all about Swagger. He has a nice finisher and that is it. Hope he proves me wrong but dammit I'm disappointed. And yeah, if they were gonna do this they shoulda just done it at Mania. If Jericho was legit hurt just have Swagger go out and pin him without hitting anything on him. This just makes Swagger look dumb.
Can't buy Swagger as world champion right now. I'm all for pushing new stars but I see no stardom in Swagger. Wouldve preferred pretty much anybody else to win MITB to him.
