Swagger was amazing as ECW Champion, he will be even better on SD as World Champ.

I wonder if WWE.com will run with this later. They usual report when the world title changes hands on taped TV before it airs. I thought if it was at a live event and based on this This is what I have for Exteme rules Chris Jericho vs Jack Swagger vs Edge

They way he did it is weird to me. I mean when Punk cashed in under similar circumstances (face takes out heel champ) he was a face so it worked but, Swagger is a heel. Just odd.

I disagree. It's a risk, but it's one WWE can afford to take. If it fails, fine, back to the drawing board, but if it succeeds, you have a brand new, ready made star in Swagger. I dont really think its a risk, personally. Theres really no risks when youre WWE these days. Theyre so cemented in their spot right now, that they could give the strap to anyone nowadays and I doubt numbers would really move much if at all. Like yoiu said, if it works theres a new star. But if not... nothing really happens. He just goes back to where he was and the belt is moved to someone else. Valid point, honestly. If it works, it works, and if it doesn't, from the WWE's perspective, so what? They've got more guys they can throw at the fans to see who sticks.

I call for the return of the Red, White and Blue Thunder Bomb and for Jack Swagger to have an absolutely AWESOME reign where he is just a dominant beast who completely OWNS everybody in his path!

I think looking ahead this is actually a great move
Gives Smackdown a good heel for Edge to play with for a few months.
Swagger will get a boost from Smackdown's writting staff.
The only real problem is that for it all to happen he had to get the title right away, granted I think he could've waited until the draft THEN did it, but still, this should work out well for everyone in the end.

I want to see Christian drafted to Smackdown and win the title. While Edge and Jericho feud elsewhere of course.

Better to have a chance on Smackdown than on Raw. Much higher chance of it working. This. There's no way Swagger could have gotten anywhere on Raw. Sheamus lucked the f*** out, because he came in right as Orton was banned from fighting Cena and was busy with Kofi, Batista was on Smackdown beating up Mysterio, and Triple H was getting their tag champ run. With Orton, Triple H and presumably Batista on Raw now, all three eligible to compete for Cena's title, as well as Sheamus looming about, Swagger would have had no chance. On Smackdown... It just might work. Might.

Jericho as an Orton like face or maybe Edge will be a tweener, there's option in this 3 way feud that will happen with Jericho, Edge & Swagger.
