Just stay off Monday nights and don't get in the way of ani Monday, and it is fine with me. Why would you be concerned about it moving to Monday? Isn't Raw on Monday? I am referring to WWE programming in general, in this case Raw. I don't want the WWE intefering with Ani Monday, outside of Adult Swim , SyFy is one of the few safe havens for true anime that we have left. I am not counting the kiddie card shows. If you mess with Ani Monday, you mess with Johan, don't mess with Johan.

Conan to TBS and Smackdown to Syfy?
Both seem odd at first, but I think long term both will be good ideas.

I doubt USA is thinking about getting rid of Raw which has been their flagship show on their station for near two decades if you don't count the time they where on TNN. I think you have nothing to worry about. And yeah SyFy is the last place where we can see some decent anime around here.

I am glad is not going to WGN since I don't have that channel. I think it is not on USA, so we can continue to have the false illusion that Raw and Smackdown are competiters.

In other news, SyFy will further distance themselves from their traditional science fiction format by rebranding themselves Sigh Figh.

It will be interesting to see the ratings. Is Smackdown watched by less than or more than RAW, if so by how much and how will Vince react if Smackdown over takes RAW?

From LA Times: Syfy already carries the show "NXT," which is a reality program featuring wannabe wrestlers trying to make it to the big leagues of WWE. NBC Universal's USA cable channel also carries WWE programming including "WWE Raw." Sounds a bit like Michael Cole wrote that.

Great. The only channel I actually do get with wrestling on it is MyNetwork. I don't have cable and I have to get it with an antenna. They're going to take that away from me now too. Well, at least there's the internet. Something most people are overlooking since it was supposed to be a network show since it started.... Now a lot of people will be without wrestling all together...

This will be good if WWE ever goes back to TV-14. Smackdown could now be TV 14

You know, about a year ago, I asked the question on this here board "where will Smackdown be in a year from now", or something like that.... The majority of us though it would still be on the air, but still on MyNetworkTV... at least we're half-right!
As far as Sci-FI/SyFy goes... it's only a matter of time until the channel is "Spike Too"

horrible for us here in SoCal where Smackdown was on a channel everybody got. Must be weird, I wished that it could have been shipped to NBC or Fox instead, Smackdown not on terrestrial TV is weird, but it does show the growth of Cable, fios, and Satellite. yeah it's weird, real weird. Plus I DON'T have HD Sci FI

So now there is officially no wrestling on broadcast network television (cable only). There's a bunch of recap shows like WWE AM and such that will still run on network tv (NBC affiliates)

Smackdown will also air on Universal HD and I would guess mun2 as a part of the deal like RAW and NXT.

Eh, Syfy learned a long time ago you can't count on a niche demographic like hardcore science fiction fans and expect to get ratings comparable to a general-interest channel like USA. Just look at Bravo's rebranding away from classical music and arthouse movies to reality shows and the ratings success it gave them. They'd put cockfighting on Syfy if it would draw a 2.0.
