Kenta Kobashi lost his first 63 matches and still won Rookie of the Year, and things turned out pretty well for him.
NXT draws not even half of Raw or Smackdowns audience, correct? They could probably move Danielson over to one of those and most people wouldn't think twice about a new guy showing up.

As has been stated before, there's a difference between a rookie losing a ton in Japan and in the States. In Japan, it's literally a part of your training to lose most of your rookie matches. It's part of being a young boy. You get the shit kicked out of you. In America, that's not how it's done.

Also a massive difference between losing to mostly Japanese legends/top stars, and losing mostly to rookies & lowercarders. I said weeks ago that Bryan needs a win soon. Now i just donn't see how they can salvage this without Bryan, Miz, or someone looking ridiculous.

At least Wade Barrett having his own theme means he'll probably get to come up to the main roster. With how much of a jobber Bryan is, pretty much made Barrett the only thing worth caring about.

the only way i will be happy is if this happens next week
daniel bryan gets in the ring and grabs the mic. He begins to talk about his win/loss record and how it doesnt matter because he still feels he is the best in the world and could make anyone tap. Thats when michael cole interupts and gets in the ring. He says he is nothing but a loser that the internet loves for some reason. Cole says that he should be ashamed of himself and he is an embarassment to this company. The crowd begins to boo cole. Cole says he believes he could probably take (he does finger quotes) the american dragon. Bryan smiles then cole slaps the piss out of him. Bryan puts cole in some crazy looking submission and screams tap or snap, he lets go before cole gets injured and points towards the announcers table.he then grabs the mic challenging anyone from the back.
out comes carlito(obviously) a few suplexes and good grapple moves later, Bryan makes carlito tap with an intense look on his face. When the ref raises his hand Bryan looks at cole who is back at the announcers table.
obviously this wont happen, but this kind of scenario is all i can see happening to save daniel bryan.

I do think they are going somewhere with Daniel Bryan but I'd have prefered a longer match with Regal, they could do good stuff.

Just got back - wow at the Bryan talk and not much else.
Christian/Barrett was a decent length - Gabriel got booed in the opening segment for being South African. Barrett, being English, was super over. Young/Gallows was fairly short, too.
Best three matches on SmackDown were the three way, the six man tag (Harts were very over) and Mickie/McCool (Mickie did a great dive off the barricade). The Miz did commentary on the six man tag. After the three way, Jericho attacked Edge and kicked the steel steps into his leg.
Dark match was Rey vs. Punk, I presume Rey won.

Swagger vs. Jericho vs. Edge is the main event tonight Edge spears Jericho, Swagger pins Jericho to keep the title YAY! Would have been really happy if this happened at Extreme Rules, but who cares! Swagger retained his title cleanly!

Well, guessing Swagger'll probably drop the gold to Randy Orton then. Makes no sense, but they clearly want to rush the title onto the second most boring man in the company for some reason.
At least it's not Drew McIntyre.

I love this. Daniel Bryan becoming a cocky SOB who knows he is the best at what he does is much better than the goofy Jim Halpert knock off we have atm.

I was at the show too. I thought Regal vs. Bryan was looking awesome but was pathetically short. Divas match was very solid. There was some fun moments. Mickie off the barricade, Michelle doing Steiner-eque pushups that Mickie copied. I marked for Beth making the save and her and Mickie's friendship moment (seriously, Beth like patted her on the head.) Beth standing on the barricade was a cool visual too.
6 Man Tag was a great match, and I was very glad to see the Hart Dynasty still looking strong. I was somewhat disappointed that the two stables with female valets didn't incorporate them somehow. Main event was good, but nothing special in my eyes.
Jericho was barking at the commentary booth during Barrett's match, so I expect more gold there.
The NXT Challenge was atrocious.

Punk and Bryan lose their respective matches yet again? I don't want to sound like a whiny ROH fan (I don't even watch indy wrestling), but these two guys really need to stop being booked like this. Especially Daniel Bryan. CM Punk is established enough with the "WWE Universe" that his credibility won't take a hit. Bryan is a whole different story.
A good percentage of WWE fans had no idea who Daniel Bryan was before NXT. He came to the show talking about how good he was, and then proceeded to constantly lose, all while established veteran WWE announcer Michael Cole rips on him. All they're doing is telling the casual fans that Daniel Bryan is a jackass.

Wade Barret gets his own entrance theme? Really? REALLY? It says he earned it by winning another NXT challenge. Its pretty funny learning that Bryan jobs now, just to see the reaction from everyone. I hope he gets to 0-20 at this point, just cos I'd be amused.

I'm going to be sad when Daniel Bryan's losing streak ends. The reactions of sheer rage here are always entertaining.
