If Shelton Benjamin goes to TNA and TNA is able to get him over then every WWE writer should be fired. I would agree with this statement under different circumstances, but not now. The WWE audience and TNA audience are very different. TNA audience typically doesn't care if a wrestler has zero charisma as long as they have skills they can get over. Like The Young Bucks (Generation Me). The TNA audience knew who they were and were cheering for them on their first night. They chanted ''Let's Go Young Bucks!'' A case can be made that the majority of the WWE audience have no idea who a wrestler is or has accomplished until he's dead and center on their television screen.

Shannon Moore weighs in with an intelligently phrased Tweet: *facepalm* I'm guessing this was in multiple posts as you can't type mroe then 140 characters in one tweet. He was using Twitlonger; first sentence of a tweet followed by a link to the entire paragraph... He must have overdosed on the Kool-Aid there...he started chanting at the end of his post for no discernible reason...

1. Mickie James - Honestly she got old after her angle with trish and was never fun after that, her character was just lame and she never really done anything interesting. No big deal. Plus she tries to betray wrestling by doing music.
I really hate this kind of mentality. It's not "betraying" wrestling by taking interest in something else. Wrestling was her job. That would be like me saying i'm "betraying" my job by playing video games in my spare time. The wrestling industry isn't the mafia, she didn't swear a blood oath and it doesn't own her. Agreed, the 'betrayal' thing makes no damn sense at all.

Meltzer mentioned in the observer a while ago that part of why Mickie was moved was because she was "getting emotional" over a relationship, and someone wanted her out of their hair. The obvious implication being she'd had a fling with someone in power, and now they wanted rid of her. She also got heat from management for causing problems for the person. People speculated over who it was, and then on the board when someone mentioned haring a story about them being a couple, Meltzer made made a post that heavily indicated it was true. The whole thing is made a ton more complicated by the fact that Cena was engaged around this time. Thats kind of shady.

Ah Shannon.
Gotta wonder if he'd be that happy if a) he hadnt gotten an instant title push b) his best mate hadn't been recently fired from WWE c) another of his best mates wasnt there with him.
When it comes to anything Shannon has to say, I think I might actually read from that book he keeps going on about.....

Commendable, although I wonder why he was so quick to abandon TNA the first time they hired him? Or is this like WWE logic, and I'm not supposed to remember that he was ever there in the first place?

Look at how Dave Batista acts: he's bragged about bedding all these divas. Would they be interested if he wasn't a main eventer who could help their careers? It's also generally accepted that McCool only gets a push because of who she's dating. You have all these beautiful women around, eager to climb up the ladder, and a lot of guys willing to take advantage. It's pretty obvious stuff like this will happen. It sounds like Mickie's problem was she wanted to be more than a fling.

People tend to be slow to jump ship when their buds are in the high echelon, Funaki's endless run doing nothing is proof

Pretty shocking news really getting rid of Shelton and Mickie. MIckie is probably the most over diva in the company so her release is a big surprise.
As for Shelton this could open new doors for him elsewhere so hopefully its exciting times ahead for him. I really hope he can get to the top one day but even in TNA that might be difficult because of his lack of charisma but here's hoping.
Hopefully his full potential can now be realised.

Dykstra probably affected her mentally, too.

I never ever believe it when a wrestler goes "My company is perfect but the competition? They all hate their jobs and it's a sinking ship!"
These sinking ship analogies for wrestling companies have been in place since the early 90's, and I'm sorry, but NO company at any point in time has been run perfectly. Not everybody is going to get their way, and there will always be some sort of political drama.
I think CM Punk put it best upon entering WWE what he would do if they misused him, he just goes "I'll do what Shannon Moore did, and buy a Hummer with all the money I'm getting."
