I'm not surprised at any of those, especially Mickie. WWE doesn't like when their wrestlers have outside aspirations that they can't get a cut of like Mickie's country singing career.

Mickie's gone? Well, there goes the only good female worker in the entire company. As for Shelton Benjamin, wondering what prompted that but certainly won't miss him. I'm going to miss Mickie too, but how much can you possibly know wbout the divas if you think she was the only good worker? Beth's a good worker. Melina's a good worker. Gail Kim is a great worker. Natalya is a great worker. Katie WAS a good one of course Mickie too. Jillian is actually a good worker and so is Michelle McCool. The rest suck though. |

She was not even near the level of somebody like a Trish Stratus...nothing changes that, no matter how much you want to bang her. And I declare the MITB be officially declared "The Shelton Benjamin Invitation." People jumping off ladders will never be the same again...eh, odds are it probably will. |

I'm having a funny feeling that JR is about to be released. Mickie and Shelton were coming up on contract renewals and got chopped today. JR's contract is ending on the 30th. Something's gotta to give. I think they are more likely to kepp JR in order to keep him from going to TNA. James and Benjamin they don't care about in that regard. |

Wow, but in the end, i think it's better for all this wrestlers.
Funaki is to good to be a jobber, same as Jimmy Wang Yan. I hope those two find some places to go, be it japan or some american indy or maybe even TNA, but hopefully they're jobber days are over.
I'm glad for Ray Gordy. The Slam Master J Gimmick was stupid and he was lost as another jobber. He is Terry Gordy's Son for god sake, he deserves better than that. ;D
Shelton Benjamin, i can see him enter the Impact Zone, same as Mickie James, i doubt TNA won't pick them up.
Katie Lea...maybe TNA

Matt Hardy's job is done after NXT, I'm calling it. They trust TNA enough to make a Hardyz reunion stupid and mean nothing. |

Your right, looking at the roster in 98, there are 8 guys left. Hunter, Taker, Kane, Matt Hardy, Regal, Goldust, Edge, and Christian. But the ones in bold aren't long for WWE or wrestling though. I think you should have Edge in bold too, with his past history of major injuries, and now coming back from an Achilles tear (which is one of the most serious injuries, especially in a physical sport/role), he's on thin ice. I fear for the guy every time he steps in the ring now. Back on topic, regarding Mickie, I think this is Vince's way of telling his superstars "You want to pursue another career that doesn't involve the WWE? Well good, go right ahead, I hope it works out for the best!" and then secretly puts their contracts through a shredder. What, you think I'm jumping to conclusions? Maria says "Hello". Jericho, don't pick up your phone. Also, I think I just heard TNA cream themselves in their pants. "It's a goldmine, brother!" |
