At the risk of sounding like a generic Cena hater, I have to say that ending was the most creatively stupidest things I've ever seen.

...it would be a great ending for a Santino match, but for a PPV main event between your company's top babyface and top heel, tying your opponent down with duct tape doesn't exactly cut it. |

I can honestly say that I've never seen such an ending to a PPV. Cena, once again, no sells his way to a victory, but this time, he used duct tape. I'm laughing right now, but I don't know if it's because it was funny or stupid.

well, to cena's credit, he had tried everything short of crippling batista, and nothing was working. but the duck tape thing is really funny.

Even if that was Batista's last match, that actually did a lot for him - it took Cena having to freaking hogtie the guy to win the bout. It was also a pretty fun match, sure they basically threw every finisher in the book at each other, but if it's Batista's last match for now - hell, why not throw the best match possible out there for the fans.
I stand by my belief - if this event took place in front of a more responsive crowd, reactions might have been better.
