Sounds like people are WAY over-reacting about that ending (or didn't see it). All that happened was Lethal came out and put Flair in the Figure Four to prevent him from interfering in the match. It really didn't have any impact on the match at all. I dont even think AJ or RVD saw it. They were busy pulling themselves up and trading blows in the ring. So yea, it had zero impact on the match. Cant argue that it interrupted the flow, though. Good match, still. AJ and RVD were both worn down and the match was about to end at any time, the lethal/flair stuff was useless all it did was take the cameras off the action in the ring for 2 minutes then they cut back for the 30 second finish, its not an overreaction and I could care less either way but it did take all the suspense out of a match that at the time looked like it could have went either way PPV will be known for the funniest promo of the year by Anderson

What the hell are you people talking about? Douglas Williams, the Finest Thing in Life, never lost the title in the first place!

I wasnt expecting anything with Joe, personally. I bet he has a big part in Slammiversary though. Perhaps a pissed off Morgan seeks revenge for Joe costing them the Tag Titles.

I give this a 6.75 out of 10. Anderson had the promo of the night and match of the night was the Main Event in my opinion.

Just saw the PPV.
1. GREAT tag team match to start the show. Got the crowd pumped. A little overbooked with the beer spit at the end, but it's good to see the Guns get a chance at the tag straps. The tag team situation is really starting to improve, I think.
2. Loved having four matches at 13-15 minutes, and one at 25 minutes. Normally, the show starts out with lots of short matches before the last three having long ones. This was more consistent. Even Terry got 8 minutes.
3. Speaking of Terry, I don't see what was so wrong with the match. It wasn't some sort of classic by any stretch, and it was a typical power match with a little selling by Terry, and it got Orlando over as a heel, but Keller and Caldwell are obviously waiting to gripe about something. Not a real thing wrong with the match tonight. Terry's got a ways to go still, but he's improving every week.
4. Douglas Williams is awesome for the X-Division. It's basically a heel telling the truth about the division that the fans, and the opponents, don't want to hear. I have always liked X-Division matches, but it's fun to see different styles with the workers now instead of ten guys doing lots of fancy moves with no rhyme or reason.
5. By the way, real good match with Kazarian tonight. It put over Kazarian as someone that can work a match with a technical guy. Glad Williams has the belt back that he never lost.
6. Tara pulled a pretty danged good match out of Madison tonight. That's something Madison needed for momentum with the belt. With the way the KO division looks, I don't see a legit challenger for a while. Be nice to see if they bring a true challenger into TNA
7. As long as The Band only wins like they did tonight, I'm for it. Completely put over Neal and Moore tonight, and won because of interference. Give them another month and give the belts to the Guns.
8. I think that was supposed to turn 3D heel, or Bubba at least, but the way the booking gets at times, it just looks like someone pissed at a student for getting too cocky.
9. Only way Abyss with Chelsea works is if they use this for Abyss to turn on Hogan. Other than that, stupid stupid stupid booking. The Abyss ring thing sort of worked to get him out of wimpy Abyss character, but this is going WAY too long. He needs to destroy Hogan and send him out for a while if Hogan truly wants to put him over. Oh, by the way, the fans are not buying this stuff at all. They were for Desmond all night.
10. Don't like Anderson asking for a handshake already. Too good of a heel. Hope Hogan and Bischoff kick this idea to the curb too. Can't be too quick on the trigger here.
11. Nice idea to put Sting over as a strong heel. Jeff Jarrett's past his expiration date as far as a contender, and it's obvious management, and Jarrett, sees it.
12. RVD and AJ Styles had their usual great match, but it was a wee bit overshadowed by Lethal and Flair. Very nice to see Lethal get this chance now. Looks like he's dumping the Macho Man stuff too.
I'm glad there wasn't any REAL clusters with the main event like a couple of the PPVs have had. Overall, I give this PPV a 6.5/10 tonight. Still a little ADD-like, but it's good to see lots of wrestling tonight.

I agree pretty much with the overall rating of 6.5 out of 10, but the main event was just...disappointing to me. Frankly I liked the free TV match better. It was shorter, more to the point, and clean. Who on earth does a clean title change on free TV that leads to a goofy, overbooked PPV main event? Russo~! And to be honest, while I enjoy Jay Lethal at times I don't want him doing a run in on the main event.

Another thing I forgot to mention.
The Abyss hulk up is really really pointless. When Hulk has done it over the years, most of the time he has looked near dead before popping up and getting some adrenaline. Abyss wasn't even close to down and out before pulling that out of the woodwork. No way to make that work.

Oh yeah, yet another thing.
If they somehow turn Anderson, anyone seeing Pope turning heel in all this? Something tells me that's going to happen.

Both men have seemed to have found their calling and Anderson is just the type of guy who you feel complied to boo with the way he's a smarmy asshole and he knows that he can get under your skin with just a word.

I didn't order the PPV, but I have to say that TNA keeps inching closer to earning my hard earned PPV dollars. They only problem is they keep busting out things like 12 second pay per view matches. I'm not really into the whole Jarrett/Sting angle, but c'mon, 12 seconds? Save that for free TV.

When Hulk has done it over the years, most of the time he has looked near dead before popping up and getting some adrenaline. Abyss wasn't even close to down and out before pulling that out of the woodwork. No way to make that work. Abyss is probably the worst thing about TNA right now. He eats up a lot of air time and he just isn't entertaining. All they would have to do to get Abyss over big time is give him a manager like James Mitchell. Abyss by himself has been booked into oblivion. But give him a good mouth piece and bam you have him over again. Even guys like Rob Terry serve a purpose (Sure the dude can't wrestle but he is helping to get over the Global Title) while Abyss just isn't cutting it. I think all TNA needs to do is reestablish the KO division keep the X-Division title on Douglas Williams (maybe they could bring in a few more guys for Williams to feud with). Then get the tag belts on the MCMG's and get Abyss off the screen.

So I got all but two of my predictions right. Is TNA really becoming that predictable?
Anyway it sucks about Desmond Wolfe losing to Abyss.
I think Mr. Anderson should have won but I guess they have to keep the Jeff Hardy happy.
I'm really shocked they didn't have some sort of swerve in the KO title match like Tara winning the belt and losing to someone like Sarita on Impact.
Because the outcome was so predictable.
Speaking of which it's just weird that they let her beat both Sarita and Taylor on the last Impact and with her gone now they don't even get a chance to get any revenge on her.

I'm not really into the whole Jarrett/Sting angle, but c'mon, 12 seconds? Save that for free TV. I think they needed to save a little time because unlike a lot of their PPV's they let the low card matches go 12-15 minutes (Even Rob Terry vs OJ got 8 minutes). If there is one 2-3 minute squash match on PPV per month I am cool with it as long as it means the other low card matches get extra time.

Gotta admit, they did the absolute right thing with Hogan tonight. No Hogan getting physical or wanting to fight Sting. Hogan just comes out and adds the muscle when Sting tips the stretcher over. Perfect use of Hogan tonight, and the fans were all over it too.

Abyss defeated Desmond Wolfe with a Black Hole Slam in the "Ring vs. Chelsea" match. As a result, Abyss gets control of Chelsea for 30 days!
Oh God, I really hope this doesn't turn into a sexual harrasment angle or anything like that. If so that'd probably end up winning a Gooker.
