It's certainly interesting. Not perfect, but as someone said in the Impact thread, I think the positives outweigh the negatives and that's generally a good thing.

There is more to the good booking they have been doing than just the RVD title win but I gotta say this is a real high point for them lately

Very excited with the decision to put the title on RVD but as has been said elsewhere that was just a solid 2 hour wrestling show that was booked smartly and well.

Thank you TNA for giving me a wrestling show that doesn't feel like it's running in .33 speed and doesn't put me to sleep.

I maintain that when Hogan took over back in January TNA was booked horribly for months. Then around March and the shift to Mondays they really started to step it up. It was a bumpy run at first but TNA is getting its ass in gear and booking better. Its not perfect and I wish Daniels and Kong were in the company but its a lot better then it was.

Yeah. Nothing says good booking like building a feud for 2 months with a red hot challenger, including a tournament victory, having the challenger lose to a pen, and hotshot the title onto somebody else, on free TV, with absolutely no prior build with absolutely no sighting of the previous challenger.
Tremendous booking...

You know...the eye. A pen. Whether you like it or not, Pope is over but not over enough to carry the company. I love the guy, he's going to be a huge talent but not just yet. Just chill.

It doesn't take much to be able to carry TNA. If TNA wanted to have AJ drop the title, then maybe have him drop it to the man he was actually feuding with. A man the fans wanted to see as World Champion. If the WWE can give the belts to Sheamus & Jack Swagger, TNA can sure as hell give the belt to Pope.

Krimson, maybe you need to take a break from TNA...this is second time in as many days you've gotten too worked up over wrestling.

But if you watched the PPV last night AJ was getting practically as many face cheers as Pope. The guy is over. He's going to get his shot. But when you compare the pop for RVD tonight just interacting with AJ to what Pope is getting it's just a no-brainer. I like Pope, he definitely deserves to hold that belt sooner rather than later but let's be serious here.

I love TNA's booking. Sometimes I think we as a fanbase get too conditioned to McMahon's product and automatically assume that if it doesn't follow that formula then it's somehow "wrong." Then again, the second they do something WWE-like, then suddenly they're just copying them and not providing a real alternative.
Damned if they do and damned if they don't.
