Because I want to see NEW characters - not decade old ones. I'll bitch now thanks! Pope AJ Styles Samoa Joe Jay Lethal Kaz Generation Me MCMG Abyss Amazing Red Anderson Matt Morgan Rob Terry Doug Williams Shannon Moore Jesse Neal Robert Roode James Storm Hernandez Homicide There's new characters for ya. Now looking over that list, is one angle with old guys really that big of a deal? First off - Kennedy/Morgan/Moore are the same characters I didn't like in WWF. 2nd off - if iMPACT were just these guys, I'd actually watch, but considering we've got multiple angles with old guys. Flair leading Fortune. Nash and Jarrett Arguing. ECW old guys. Angle running over everyone still. These new characters barely get enough screen time to make it worth my while. At least SD features enough new guys to make it interesting. Gondsarnet!

If it were just new guys without any veterans, WWE & TNA would be called ROH. Seriously Flair, Nash, and Jarrett are to TNA as Taker, HHH, and Regal are to WWE. But I do get what you're saying, there is a lot of emphasis on the older guys that should be directed to younger dudes. I don't mind some of the older guys being there because it balances it out IMO, but I respect your opinion.

I like Flair as the mouthpiece of Fortune, Nash and Jarrett I could definitely do without, the ECW invasion is one of hte most interesting things they've done forever and I'll always love Angle.

I cant wait to see how the invasion plays out. This isnt your McMahon as ECW champion ECW. This is all the originals!! Old guys or not, I think it is going to be a very interesting angle. As for the other old guys in TNA, Angle is still one of the big in ring performers period. Flair has been intertaining in his role so far. I could do without Jarrett and Nash, but they are seaoned vets, and the young guys need them for guidance.

Go read the spoilers for the second night for more hilarity. {Spoiler}At the end of tonight's show, which will air on 7/22, they announced the 8/8 Hard Justice PPV will be essentially a remake of the ECW One Night Stand show. Tommy Dreamer did an interview where he even referenced how the 2005 show was supposed to be the end, but Vince McMahon brought it back and ruined it. He did one of his crying promos asking Dixie Carter to give them one last night, and Carter agreed, saying that the former ECW guys will have full control of the PPV and he promised people would see ECW as it should be and not what Vince McMahon turned it into. Seriously, don't they employ writers?

This is all the originals!! ...but WWE had Dreamer, Sabu, Sandman, RVD, Balls Mahoney, Roadkill, Little Guido, Super Crazy, Stevie Richards, and Al Snow under contract during the 'Vince is ECW Champion' angle. Weren't they all ECW Originals?

To their credit, TNA isn't ripping off Nexus. Its ripping off the original InVasion.
