"Fire and brimstone coming down from the skies! Rivers and seas boiling!" "Forty years of XPW matches! Earthquakes, Typhoons..." "Verne Gagne rising from the grave!" "Human sacrifice, marks and smarks living together... MASS HYSTERIA!" I didn't know that verne is dead. Wasn't he inducted like 2 years ago? He's alive. Killed somebody last year at a Minnesota convalescence home.

In all honesty, I'd rather have Wade Barrett gets a decent singles push then get stuck carrying a bunch of dead weight like Scheffield and Otunga. So if this kills the "N-Vasion" then it's no loss. You are insane. No loss? This angle was EASILY the best thing since the ECW invasion angle.... easily. It was "fresh" by today's standards... done before? Yes, everything in wrestling is a rehash really... but NOTHING has gotten adult fans more interested in the WWE since, well, the WWE has been the WWE.

Actually, if the WWE really wanted to bury Bryan before all's said and done, maybe they could re-edit and re-dub that squash match between Cena and Danielson from Heat a few years back. Insert it into RAW somewhere, and if nothing else they can atleast claim Cena got his revenge. I'd love to hear a kayfabed explanation for Cena wearing the hideous bright yellow pants again, for one night only. Well the NXT kids obviously destroyed Cena's jean shorts in last weeks attack and he had to use the only other clean thing he had in his closet. Apparently the new Mrs. Cena is getting behind in her housework. I'm sure Mickie James would've never let this happen.

The day that the IWC starts hating Punk and saying he is holding down talent is the day that nothing becomes sacred. If that happens, I'm going to my bomb shelter, cause Armageddon would be near. Someone will have divided by zero for sure. The biggest thing that I hope comes from this is that I hope someone on the indy scene starts working a Ken gimmick and that someone wrestles Danielson.

Dude, are you on a computer or in a telegraph office? This is the 21st century, we're on the Internet. We want information and we want it now. It doesn't have to be true, it doesn't even have to make sense, it just needs to be information. what does being in the 21st century have to deal with something that we might not know about for a day or two? just because we have the internet doesnt mean we will know everything. if we find out, we find out. if not, then not. I think... I think someone missed the joke. Maybe it was me, I don't know.

If this is true, it absolutely sucks. Sure, the Nvasion angle can still be salvaged, but this knocks a helluva lot of wind out of its sails. Bryan was the most interesting part of the angle, IMHO.

I don't get this ''he was fired thanks to a higher up''''
If he was fired because he did something that he was told to do, and then is fired because someone didn't liked that he did that, he could sue the WWE for millions
But if he was fired because he went off the script, the WWE has all the right in the world to fire him

On another forum I go to, I saw that in today's Wrestling Observer audio update, Dave Meltzer said "Trying to think logically about this situation is a flaw, because there's no logic to this whatsoever" " there is a situation going on inside that company, with someone who is a much bigger talent than Bryan Danielson, that is so much more insane than this, that it would boggle your mind" I wonder whats happening that's so insane, and who's involved? I hate it when Dave gets so cryptic... TRANSLATION: Meltzer hasn't a clue, so he's going to act like it's this big, mysterious thing that he can't blow the lid on to cover his ass. Nothing new here, folks. This. Or he's just buying enough time to make up some outlandish story that would be impossible to verify. Either way, he's just trying to keep his name in the middle of it in order to generate website hits.

The wrestling news sites reminds me of Tony Shavonie at the end of Bash at The Beach 1996.
"For Dave Meltzer, for Bryan Alvarez, for RD Reynolds...I dunno...Vince McMahon you can go to hell...we're outta here"

Or he's just buying enough time to make up some outlandish story that would be impossible to verify. Either way, he's just trying to keep his name in the middle of it in order to generate website hits. Reminds me of when Molly Holly (Nora Greenwald) left and nearly every internet site had stories about her leaving because she was uncomfortable with the product and it went against her beliefs. On her shoot she reads a printout from one of the dirt sheets and totally buries the guy saying that she'd never talked to him, never knew anyone who ever talked to him and the only person she talked to was Vince. She ended up leaving because she had a lump in her breast and thought it was cancer and it really scared her and she felt she needed to do more with her life at the time (since it can be taken from you at an instant). Kind of cool seeing the NEWZ writers get buried like that.

If nothing else this story deconstructs the dirt sheets a good bit. This is a huge story and they have no more information than any of us.
