Looking back at what WWE had, I think WWE made a huge mistake in releasing Bobby Lashley. Yes I know he left cuz Michael Hays dissed his wife but WWE shouldve punished Hays and not Bobby. I feel that if WWE kept going with Lashley he would be a huge huge huge star right now. The guy had a body men only dream of, he had absolute wrestling talent coming natural from an NCAA back ground.
the only thing u can diss on him is his mic skills and okay so he had quiet girly voice but that could have easily been worked out if he just didnt say too many things and the whole speak with his fists instead of mouth gimmick.
I feel WWE really screwed up in how they handled Lashley's situation. Right now its obvious they are desperate for new stars and while some of the guy they are pushing are good like Sheamus and Miz, they are not what Lashley could have been.
What do u think?

The man was a black hole of charisma. His voice made Dave Stewart and David Beckham's sound threatening. He had a great look and was passable in the ring, but I wouldn't lose any sleep over him.

Maybe could've been better with a manager, but managers don't seem to exist any more.

I saw NOTHING special in black Goldberg. Not even that, because Goldberg had charisma that hid his weak promo skills. You hear Lashley talk and all fear goes away. He should've shut up.
I have no clue why WWE is so obsessed with having all their guys talk. There are managers for a reason. You know, Vince? You should bring those back.

Yes. They had him talk.
Goldberg kept his mouth shut until he was over. By that point, it'd take a squeaky voice and an inability to say bastard to slow his progress...
Hey, wait a second...

They hurt Lashley the worst by making him ECW champion to an audience that didn't want him in that role instead of letting him develop on Smackdown working with the likes of Booker, Finlay, and Regal. The feud with McMahon didn't really do anything either, and he wasn't any more over when it ended.
By the time they had actually figured out what to do with him (working with the Cena and the Raw mid-card) he was gone.

I think Lashley is fighting tonight for Strikeforce.
Lashley looked the part but it just wasn't to be.

"You say your name is Finlay and you love to fight. I say your name is Finlay and your a bastard." Instantly killed any credibility he may have had. He had no charisma and wasn't good enough in the ring to warrant a silent killer gimmick. He wasn't untalented, but he was just very, very average to me.

The WWE did with Brock Lesnar what they should have done with Lashley. They gave Brock Paul Heyman to do his talking for the first year or so (Paul did an incredible job as his "agent") while Brock just went in and destroyed people. By the time they cut Brock loose from Paul, he was established enough that even though his mic skills were just OK, it didn't matter. That said, I didn't care one bit about Lashley. I wish Lesnar would have still been around to destroy him, too.

Feels like this topic came up a few days ago....
Lashley had a lot of strengths (his size and look and his athletic background) but he has weaknesses (promos and personality). WWE did pretty well with him while they had him. I still don't know exactly what the issue between them was that led him to getting a full release without any limitations on what he could do.
Good luck with your fight tonight, Lashley.

The man was a black hole of charisma. Black hole? RACIST!!!1111 Yes, WWE f***ed up on Lashley. Not only did they push him the wrong way, but they also did his wife wrong. They knew damn well Lashley was whipped. Look at him. He probably goes shopping EVERY WEEKEND. But they decided to fire his fiancee like a bunch of fools, and forced him to follow her.

I still remember the first time I heard Lashley talk. I remember it well because of how much pain I was in from laughing so hard. God bless you, Bobby! You and your gigantic body with a prepubescent voice.
