Since I'm guessing it isn't the endless driving of the Mako over large boulders, I'm going with it becoming tilted more towards shooter than RPG. It doesn't feel like there is as much customization. I really wish there was more of the Citadel available to explore as well - it is frustrating to have the hub of the whole galaxy available and only be able to go into one man's office. Also, no Wrex. Wrex is there for a sweet cameo. He just isn't a playable character. Grunt is awesome though. He's only there if you didn't kill him in the first ME, right?

I imported my ME1 female Shep where I kept him alive, so I have no idea how it would have worked if I had just started a new ME2 game. I believe if you kill him he won't appear in the second game. Like if Kaiden or Ashley bite it they don't appear.

Grunt does have his moments though. "It takes more to get through a Turian, but there really isn't much point. [Chuckles, and with quotation finger gestures] "Much point." Ah, never mind. Absolutely LOVE Mordin and Legion though. Both fantastic characters. Hell, there are tons of great characters. Reading through the news, this story made me glance twice to double check the name of the company. www.businessweek.com/magazine/content/10_45/b4202025114499.htm"Misfires Aplenty at Cerberus' Gun Unit" Since 2006, Cerberus, a New York-based buyout firm with assets valued at about $23 billion, has scooped up 13 firearm and ammo brands. These include well-known names such as Remington, Marlin, Bushmaster, DPMS/Panther Arms, and Barnes Bullets. Cerberus has combined these investments into Freedom Group. The company enjoyed a booming 2009 with sales of $848.7 million, making it the country's largest civilian arms maker. The company is headed by a very private individual, Steve Feinberg. No word if he is also known as the Illusive Man.

Beat Mass Effect 2. I'm kind of torn. In some ways it's an epic improvement in others it's missing something that made the first great. I can't put my finger on it. Yeah, pretty much elimininating all of the looting bummed me out. I wasn't really shocked or surprised as custom skins for $1 or $2 more have become all the rage, but finding sweet new suits, weapons, etc. for you or your crew was great in the first. Although, I was majorly disappointed as I found an insanely awesome red suit at the tail end of my original ME mission and didn't really get enough time with it.

I'm playing a new game of ME2 without importing my ME1 character, and so far, no mention of Wrex whatsoever, so it seems that the "canon" big moments are as follows:
- Kaiden dies, not Ashley. - Wrex dies. - The Council dies.

No chance in hell? I'd think the fact that the game has more pre-orders than MW2 did might say otherwise. Plus, it is on 4 platforms(PC, PS3, 360, and Wii). That means more people can buy the game. I just don't its going to do too well beyond its pre-orders. I highly doubt its gonna sell 10 million units in the US like MW 2 did. Thats just me though. Well, Black Ops is already over halfway to the 10 million unit mark, after just the first 24 hours. In the US and UK combined, in the first 24 hours of release, Black Ops has sold 5.7 million copies, making $360 million, $50 million more than MW2 did in its first 24 hours, thus making Black Ops the biggest 24 hour opening in entertainment history. MW2 only sold 4.7 million copies in its first 24 hours, btw.

Anyone else been running into laggy as hell servers?
I was playing L4D2 with a friend last night and the server just turned awful to the point we had to leave. Then I toss in Reach today and halfway through a Firefight matchmaking, it goes to complete crap.
I'd suspect it was my connection, but I've never had issues like this. In fact, I've never had any lag issues whatsoever with Reach. L4D2 even was a lot more limited compared to my friend's.

Reach almost always seems to lag on me in Co-Op Campaign Matchmaking. Could just be me, though.

So I popped in Black Ops after playing RDR for the last 6 months. Good god I forgot how fast COD games are. Took me a bit to get used to the pace again lol.

The game gets frustratingly hard in the later levels. Totally worth it, though, the Kenny's Hoodie you unlock for your Avatar for beating the campaign is freaking sweet.
