For the life of me, I cant figure out what the hell happened to Cuba Gooding Jr's career. The gods of acting are punishing him for stealing William H Macy's best supporting actor Oscar. I always think "Wow, he won an oscar" and then I think "Wow....he starred in 'Boat trip'"

Cuba Gooding Jr has become a joke. It's sad considering how good he was. He must take anything given to him to make a buck. He has no self-respect. I can see making one or two (even three) bad films but there comes a point where you'd say to yourself "I've got to smarten up". Nope, he keeps churning out crap.

Cuba seems to have become the newest go-to guy in the straight to video action-movie market. As far as Murphy vs Cage goes I'll say Murphy since he used to be the biggest comedian and comic actor in the country. Dude was huge and he's become lame. Cage was neve THAT big and he's always been sorta hit-and-miss.

I thought of Deniro when I saw the title. From Raging Bull to Little Fockers

Blasphemy, that movie was hilarous. This. I love that movie! This was the last time that both Eddie Murphy and Steve Martin were funny. It's kind of interesting that it's for the same movie.

I thought of Deniro when I saw the title. From Raging Bull to Little Fockers I thought of him as well. He's much better than he's showing us now. I don't mind an actor taking parts for fun (like Helen Mirren in Red) but when they start churning out anything it's kind of sad.

Halle Berry. The woman sure is pretty, and from what I hear (assuming I hear correctly of course) is one of the nicest people in the industry...but the only real thing she did of note the last decade were the X-Men movies, and even then as a supporting character while Wolverine, Picard and Gandalf had all the fun. But apart from that? Perfect Stranger? Things We Lost In The Fire? Freaking Catwoman??? And COINCIDENTALLY she got her Oscar in the same year as Gooding did...but on the other hand so did Denzel Washington, and his career has shown no signs of slowing down yet. So make up your own conclusions.

Damn, now I REALLY know his career had gone down the crapper when I can't even remember the last time he was good. I think out of all the people mentioned on the site, Gooding has by far the worst record. At least Cage, Murphy, De Niro, and Berry actually have actual theatrical releases, regardless of how wide or limited they may be. Last I heard, Gooding's have all been DTV or somesuch.
