Luck cost himself millions of dollars. I don't care if his dad has a ton of money, if there is a rookie slotting system next year he's f***ed.

Comparing Luck and Locker is like comparing Manning and Leaf.
Locker strikes me as the biggest bust maybe since Leaf.

You didn't learn from Jake Locker's mistake, now you'll suffer the same fate son. Luck's a much better QB than Locker was. Hell even last year, people were saying Luck was a better QB and prospect than Locker was. And there's also Sam Bradford, he passed up on being the number 1 pick, returned to school, still became the number 1 pick, got a huge contract and had a damn fine rookie year with a s*** team. But also everyone was saying last year that if Locker came out last year, he would have been the #1 pick, over Bradford. But he went back to school and had a down season, now he's gonna slide. Who's to say Luck doesn't do the same, especially with (most likely) having to deal with a new head coach, and next year's #1 finds somebody they like better.

But you say that as though he's oblivious to this fact and didn't know. He knows, and made this decision anyway. Maybe he isn't Latrell Spreewell and doesn't need 150 million dollars to feed his family.

Maybe Luck really thinks there's gonna be a lockout, and he'd rather be on the field than stay at home doing nothing.

Here is the thing, you never know with anyone these days. You might get a great one who can define your franchise or you might get one who just sucks.

Lets see Luck enter the league on a team with a top 5 WR and running game like we have next year. Not happening.
We're a healthy O-Line away from a capable QB being just fine (i.e. not Jimmy Clausen)

Those are all good points, but you just never know. Also what if Carolina has the #1 pick again next year lol lol, well then f***. Sorry, Panthers fans, but I think that actually could happen depending on what happens in the offseason regarding coaching, free agency, draft, etc. According to Pat Yasinskas of ESPN, despite having the worst record in the league, based on their 2011 opponents' record, they'll have the toughest schedule record-wise(combined 142-114; their three division rivals twice, Indy, Chicago, and Green Bay plus 8-8 Jacksonville). Buffalo has the 2nd toughest record-wise.

To be fair, they have a few good defensive players(Beason, Johnson). They get a good coach and a DC that preaches discipline, they're back on track.

Coach Pete Carroll announced Thursday that Matt Hasselbeck (hip) will start against the Saints in Saturday's Wild Card round contest.
Cowboys signed head coach Jason Garrett to four-year contract.

We need a revamped Defensive line. I have pretty much no faith in our D tackles, and our ends don't really rush the passer particularly well.
Linebackers are fine, safties are fine, corners are decent but I don't know what's going to happen with Richard Marshall. Well I do, we are going to cheap out and let him walk, but I'll hold out hope. Even if he goes, Captain Munnerlyn stepped up this year and can hold his own.

I, for one, applaud Andrew Luck for staying in school, Because for all we know, he could be a gigantic bust or get a horrible injury in the NFL that ends his career premature. At least with a degree he has a great thing to fall back on. And it's not like he's taking some gimme major from Podunk College or anything. He goes to freakin' Stanford.
I can understand why Panther fans are pissed about this, but for Luck personally, I think this is a smart move.

TMZ.com is reporting that Redskins TE Fred Davis has been accused of assaulting a woman in a D.C. area nightclub early Thursday morning.
Davis is accused of throwing a drink on a woman and hitting her in the lip with an unidentified object -- possibly a bottle. Per beat writer Grant Paulsen, Davis admits to throwing a drink on the woman after she did the same to him. However, Davis insists the bottle accusation is "completely false" and that the nightclub's video will prove him innocent.

LOL WUT? Dude, the reason our DEFENSE was so lousy and run down is because our offense couldn't stay on the field more than 3 minutes. Hell there was a game we had negative passing yards by half time.

I've been called stupid, but I've been against us picking up Luck for a while now...
He may be the best QB to ever play the game but just this past year we drafted our so called "leader of the franchise" with Clausen and that hasn't panned out at all...And the ridiculous amount of money we would have had to pay him probably doesn't help things as far as getting players for other positions after how cheap Jerry Richardson is...
But I'm hoping we can pick up someone like Matt Flynn who looks like he may be trade bait this coming off-season and trade out of the 1st pick (if anyone is stupid enough to take it) to build more depth around this team because we've had none of it this season...
But if we absolutely have to take someone with the #1 pick I'm not sure who we go for...Bowers? He was pretty damn good at Clemson but I'm not sure if he'd be worthy of the #1 pick honestly...

Amid reports that the Dolphins already have a deal in principal with Jim Harbaugh, ESPN's Adam Schefter confirms that the team is still not in compliance with the Rooney Rule.
The Broncos are now attempting to set up an interview with Harbaugh while the Dolphins sort through their mess.
Geoff Hobson of Bengals.com suggests the team may have already picked up Chad Ochocinco's $6 million club option for 2011.
