Harbaugh "isn't sold" on what's going on with the Dolphins, and may be slipping from their grasp. They're still in the picture along with San Fran and Stanford (who actually offered more than the Niners did).

He'd probably be good in an offensive coordinator position or lesser asst. coach. I can't see ANY organization being crazy or stupid enough to offer him another head coaching position. Well... except the 49ers apparently.

Luck is a freaking moron. Stanford won't pay Lucks bills if he suffers a catastrophic injury or under preforms. You can always go back and get your degree later on. Your window to play and get the big bucks in the NFL is small. Luck basically passed up a huge bag of money to play for free.

College football players get ripped off playing for free (Don't give me they get free tuition bs because their tuition and board doesn't cost the school that much money and compared to how much the football program makes for their school the players get ripped off) why should you show any loyalty to them if they won't look out for you.

Take a look at Brian Brohm the guy would have been the number one pick overall but went back to his school for his senior year and and went from 1st overall to 2nd round selection. The guy cost himself tens of millions of dollars for a school that wasn't paying him anything. Look at Brohm now he is the backup QB for the Buffalo Bills and isn't looking too good.

Yeah right, I'm sure they decided that Sparano was the best man. If I was a betting man (and I am) then I'd bet that Harbaugh turned them down and they had to return home with egg on their face. Good job completely embarrassing your head coach there guys. Find a quarterback that isn't a turnover machine and you'll do just fine.

You do realize the Luck's are loaded right? So money is no issue for him or his family. And Andrew is majoring in architecture. If you get a degree in architecture (or really any degree) from Stanford your pretty much set for your career.

This is just my opinion, but I don't think Harbaugh has any intention of coaching in the NFL, I think he's using the NFL to get a bigger deal out of Michigan or Stanford. Who else is getting this vibe?

As of this morning, the Broncos are proceeding in their head coaching search without Jim Harbaugh. The team is not planning to interview the Stanford head coach, according to an NFL source.

John Elway, the Broncos' new football operations boss, did let Harbaugh know earlier in the week that he was interested. But the Stanford coach seemed to show only backburner interest in the Broncos as he met first with the San Francisco 49ers, then the Miami Dolphins, as well as Stanford officials.

The Broncos had discussed visiting Harbaugh in Denver earlier in the week. When that couldn't be arranged, team officials talked about flying to the Bay Area, but a definitive time couldn't be set.

At this point, the Broncos' interest in Harbaugh seems to have cooled. He would have been a tough get, anyway, as the Broncos are already committed to paying at least $5 million next year to former head coaches Mike Shanahan ($3.5 million) and Josh McDaniels (settlement figure from $3.2 million that was owed) and there are reports Harbaugh's price tag is around $7 million a year.
