AdamSchefter: RT @mortreport: After meeting w Harbaugh, source says Dolphins have decided that Tony Sparano is the best man for job. Will be retained.

Down to Stanford, the 49ers and the long shot Broncos.

I'm sure Tony is just thrilled to be given that free neutering by the Dolphins.

Starting to make its way around twitter that Harbaugh is likely staying at Stanford with Luck.

Can't believe McDaniels is such a hot prospect around the league

Can't believe McDaniels is such a hot prospect around the league It's the Belichick factor. He may have floundered as a head coach but they want his offensive prowess that he created in New England.

Can't believe McDaniels is such a hot prospect around the league He'd probably be good in an offensive coordinator position or lesser asst. coach. I can't see ANY organization being crazy or stupid enough to offer him another head coaching position. Well... except the 49ers apparently.

His daddy may be rich but he's not $60 million guaranteed rich. I'm just trying to point out that he may have cost himself a ton of money all because he wanted to go back to school. Look at what happened with Leinart. He was the consensus top pick one year, went back to school because he liked the "college experience" and he dropped from 1 to 10, costing himself like $24 million in the process, and he's NEVER going to get that back b/c he's a bust. Leinart was influenced by having to have elbow surgery after his Junior season. We haven't heard anything about Luck's liking of the college experience being like Leinart's liking of the college experience. One thing is he doesn't have Mr Jessica Simpson hanging off his nuts. And Luck has more maturity than Leinart. Luck's returning because he's committed to getting his degree and to Stanford. People have been ripped for skipping school and going after the money, and with Luck we've got a guy who chose to stay in school. This is a kid who wants to get his degree first, the NFL is going to be there, and he'll get a degree from Stanford. I'm not going to blast him for deciding to stay. Luck is a freaking moron. Stanford won't pay Lucks bills if he suffers a catastrophic injury or under preforms. You can always go back and get your degree later on. Your window to play and get the big bucks in the NFL is small. Luck basically passed up a huge bag of money to play for free. College football players get ripped off playing for free (Don't give me they get free tuition bs because their tuition and board doesn't cost the school that much money and compared to how much the football program makes for their school the players get ripped off) why should you show any loyalty to them if they won't look out for you. Take a look at Brian Brohm the guy would have been the number one pick overall but went back to his school for his senior year and and went from 1st overall to 2nd round selection. The guy cost himself tens of millions of dollars for a school that wasn't paying him anything. Look at Brohm now he is the backup QB for the Buffalo Bills and isn't looking too good.

If I was a betting man (and I am) then I'd bet that Harbaugh turned them down and they had to return home with egg on their face. Good job completely embarrassing your head coach there guys. Find a quarterback that isn't a turnover machine and you'll do just fine.

So money is no issue for him or his family. And Andrew is majoring in architecture. If you get a degree in architecture (or really any degree) from Stanford your pretty much set for your career.

This is just my opinion, but I don't think Harbaugh has any intention of coaching in the NFL, I think he's using the NFL to get a bigger deal out of Michigan or Stanford. Who else is getting this vibe?

So, Luck's staying at Stanford.
Panthers will suck for years to come, with that cheap owner of theirs.

Yeah 10 years ago. Vince Young hasnt been given a chance to guide this team for a couple seasons in a row without being jerked around by Fisher. His actions have caused some of that but Fisher hasnt been nearly as successful since McNair left, at least until Vince Young came to town. Collins helped lead them to a 13-3 year and followed that up with these 2 stinkers. Has Kerry Collins ever won ANY kind of championship? Did Fisher win the Super Bowl? I think I remember Vince Young winning a championship sometime.... Super Bowl appearances: Kerry Collins - 1(Super Bowl XXXV) Vince Young - 0 Conference Title Game appearances: Kerry Collins 2(1 win) Vince Young 0 Bottom line, Kerry Collins has gotten the job done in the NFL. Vince Young, not so much.

Multiple media outlets are reporting that Jim Harbaugh will decide today whether he's staying at Stanford or going to the 49ers.
