Heat continue their run with a 21 point win in Arco over the Kings. Christmas looms... 8 straight by an average of about 18 points per. Getting mighty interesting. And nice effort on the boards tonight from CB4 (I know he doesn't wear #4 anymore, but I wish he would, CB4 was my favorite basketball nickname besides "no-prop Joe").

Too big, too strong, too fast, too good. Gotta love the "MVP" chants from the UC crowds as the Bulls win by 31 over the poor, poor T-Wolves.

Looks like the nWo is finally beating up opponents at the end of Nitro while the screen fades to black and Schiavone yells, "WE GOTTA GO! STAY TUNED FOR AN ALL NEW THUNDER IN PARADISE!"

Knicks pass their first test and win their 8th straight
Also, Amare set the Knicks franchise record of most consecutive 30 point games

Amare goes for 30 yet again, and the Knicks beat the Nuggets.
If he isn't the MVP right now, he's right there waiting to pounce.

When I saw Amare had only 6 points at the half, I thought this was the end of the streak. That didn't matter to me since that's still an individual record and it's the wins that matter so if he just finished with 20 I thought that would still be a good game. But he really knows when to turn it up and score.
After so many bad years, it's nice to actually be able to cheer the team and not just root for young players to do well and hope they can be the ones to turn it around.

So, which team is the worst in the league? Sacto, Paper Clips, Minnesota, Washington, Cleveland, Detroit, or NJ? I say Cleveland. They've got nothing to be excited about, except maybe JJ Hickson(?). Also, Harrison Barnes, Kyrie Irving, Jared Sullinger, or whoever ends up going #1 next year. Maybe for this year, but the future looks good. Cleveland has a lot of things going for them that could help in the future. An owner who is willing to spend any money necessary to improve the team, a very good front office, a fourteen million dollar trade exception, a first round and two second round picks in 2011, a first round and two second round picks in 2012, two first round picks and two second round picks in 2013, and two first round picks and a second round pick in 2015. That's fifteen picks in the next five years. A lot of things can be done with that. Cleveland got screwed. LeBron didn't tell anyone he was leaving, and by the time he did, it was too late for Cleveland to pick up anyone that was more than a journeyman/bench guy. Give them a year or two. They'll be back.

Bill Sheridan is reporting that Melo has told the Nuggets that he will not sign an extension unless he is traded to the Knicks.

The Knicks should wait until the summer to sign him rather than trade away good young players and even more draft picks. Agreed. I think it's pretty clear to anyone listening that he wants to go there. I doubt unless someone comes at him with some other worldly offer that he's going to be anything other than a Knick when (if) they tip off next season.
