Which is why, as much as I dislike Pittsburgh, I would love to see them humiliate the Jets only to in turn get picked apart by Green Bay. This is the absolute truth. If it plays out that way, I, as total heathen liberal NYC queerboy will thank every deity you can name in the phonebook.

The Texans are that kid you see do just well enough to get by, but when he's doing something outside of school he totally blows you away. You just know if he ever knuckled down he could make something of himself, but you finally just accept that he's going to be a deadbeat slacker until something changes.

it seems like I'm pretty good at these x=y things on the forums. My comment about the Pats being the arrogant asshole who gets all the breaks now has everyone doing a : the NFL = typical middle/high school thing

The Dolphins are the kid that looks like he's turned the corner, then he does something stupid again and compounds it by lying about it.

I'm a lifelong New York fan, but only of the Giants. I seesaw between tolerating the Jets (during the mid-late 90's) to absolutely detesting them (the Rex Ryan era). But I'll never call myself a fan. As for the Football Giants, they're that kid who got picked on by the bigger kids a lot, and then decided he wasn't going to take it anymore. So he went on a tear and became the most popular kid in school for awhile after getting the star quarterback's girl to dump him and become his girlfriend.

The Bills are that kid whom when you get told you're paired with them for a big class project, your response is, "who?"

I am so thrilled that the Jets won. I am in no way underestimating them as a team, because they're very good. I just feel like the Steelers match up better against them. Plus, I like playing them at home compared to playing the Patriots on the road. Should be a great game, plus I shall be in attendance.

The Ravens are the slightly pudgy goth kid who gets weird looks from people, but doesn't get picked on because he's also the best dodge ball player in gym class. I don't get that one

Green Bay/Chicago. Think of the history: 21 championships, 4 Super Bowls, 12 conference championships, 31 division championships, 52 playoff appearances, 181 matchups against each other since 1921. A storied rivalry, indeed.

Best. Post. Ever Permission to sig? I still dont get why a lot of people are saying the Jets winning is an upset. Yes, they were the 6 seed, but an 11-5 six seed. They beat the Pats @ NE in week 2....just dont get why its a major upset.
