Looking at their now 17 person roster it's:
Faces - Edge, Rey, Show, Zeke, Kofi, Masters, Barreta, JTG Heels - Kane, Ziggler, Swagger, Rhodes, McIntyre, Chavo, Reks, Hawkins, ADR
And Rey may be injured, McIntyre might turn face (though seems like it's a trick), and Zeke still hasn't debuted yet

thats just pathetic...never have I seen a brand so thin in the WWE
but SD will/can get: Ezekiel (is it 100% true tho?) Percy Watson (oh yeah) Seth Rollins (oh hell yeah) NXT 4 contestants Nexus rejects (Michael Tarver, Skip Sheffield)

Glad to see this thread bumped up in light of Kaval's release. I can't believe Smackdown's roster right now. They essentially traded in Kaval for Ezekiel Jackson. I know there are some Zeke fans on here, but let's be serious about this; that is a downgrade if there ever was one.
And how is it that with only 17 guys on the roster, Trent Baretta and Curt Hawkins are NEVER on Smackdown? Not to mention Chavo, JTG and Tyler Reks are scarcely used as well. You'd think with such little talent, they'd get as many guys on TV as possible.
Smackdown is awful right now outside of ADR, Rey Mysterio, Cody Rhodes and Dolph Ziggler. And for the love of God, fire Drew McIntyre already.

I see this as a good way to give the tag team division a shot in the arm. Edge and Christian = License to print money Tarver and Sheffield = Awesome bruiser tag team. Keep 'em heels Ryder and Hawkins = Come on that was obvious Big Zeke and Kofi = Classic big, power man with speed man Rhodes and McIntyre = Broken Mirrors is an awesome nickname Show and Rey = If you're gonna go big man/little man, you might as well do it right. ADR and Ziggler = THE heel tag team to beat. Having Vicky in the mix might just overshadow the heat they could draw on their own, though
Sigh.... but yea, the WWE couldn't care less about tag teams.

Definitely not. MVP and Kaval's releases have put a HUGE damper on the show for me.

I was thinking, if the WWE is serious about this Hart Dynasty split, then sending David Hart Smith to Smackdown would be a good idea. Give him a decent mid-card push and he'd be a solid IC Title contender. Also, I think giving an Evan Bourne-esque "plucky underdog" push to Trent Barretta would work. Make him into a solid mid-card act.

Smackdown has basically gotten to the point where you'd have to pay me to make me watch it.

Well be honest, does the show really need saving or just sprucing up? In my opinion, the problem with Smackdown isn't their main event picture as much as it is they have absolutely no mid-card. A bunch of young guys like mentioned above just doing their acts on TV I think can help more right now then sending a Randy Orton to Smackdown.

I dunno...I look at it like a baseball team. The show would be a lot better with them trading for a superstar right now (Orton) rather than trading for a bunch of minor league talents like the guys listed above. But that's just me. Having Percy Watson, Seth Rollins, and whoever else on there all of a sudden isn't going to make me care about Smackdown.

I'm fine with the Roster.
It's not the amount of talent, it's the quality of talent , combined with good storylines.

After seeing their KotR match if Bryan wasn't holding a belt on Raw I'd say bring him over to Smackdown and let him feud with Del Rio.

In light of what most of you say, I start feeling guilty, because I still love Smackdown. Roster problems or not.

I've said it since they've destroyed the Nexus angle, Barrett needs to go to SD.
