Probably over generalising, but if the guy calling Punk that isn't from a Southern US state, considering he's spelling it how someone from there would say it then I'd be very suprised.......

The reason people choose to be gay is because they want attention.

It's obviously a choice for some teens to be so horribly depressed about their sexuality that they don't tell anybody and commit suicide! Honestly I don't know how you guys put up with the adversity that you do, the gay community takes a lot of shit from people. |

In all seriousness though, it's hard to say that being homosexual is a choice because of all the stuff we go though. Orange really hit the nail on the head with the comment about the depressed teenagers commiting suicide.
Bottom line is, people shouldn't go on about things they don't understand.

Sometimes it's just really hard, you know. I mean, to know that there are people, entire groups of people, who hate you. They don't even know you, and yet they hate you, because of who you love. But, if we just gave into the haters, then they'd win. So we get up every day, and we fight. We fight back by living our lives as we know we should, we do what's right, and we stand proud. You have to be brave to be gay. It really is sad that the gay stereotype is weak, girly, sissies. Because if you ask me, we're pretty damn tough to put up with all the shit.
