As for the results, I can put them up after SNS puts his thing up, but it may be a while because I have to go outside shortly to do some stuff.

Notes from following the thread. Please know that this is talking about in-game characters.. And all this was written before final votes were revealed. Most of this was collected during the game, but some of it I had to go back for.

Key moments:

Jonathan... you were the scape goat in three consecutive votes. This might not be indication of you leaving anytime soon, but a good indication of those leaving's opinion of where you stand on your team. Should be something I need to bring up to you once merged.

Fully expected MGH... Why choose ritt? Why not grab the strongest player to eliminate them? MGH was ready to respond fairly quickly too. Hmmm... *Remembers how close MGH and Trista were last game.*

Trista and MGH were within 6 points of each other every round.. even tied each other twice.. Why is noone seeing that these two are working together?

Original WIN members 6 ... Original FAN Members ... 3 ... Original WIN was eliminated? Why save a FAN... making it 5 to 3? One flip would mean an even 4-4... definately indicator of more going on here.

MGH is helping Trista?!... That's twice he's voted against you berg... notice this!

*sigh* -- I really wanted to work with you. Had I made it to the merge, I probably would have approached you long ago with my conspiracy theories.

MGH/Trista helping each other out again... For two of the strongest immunity challenges in the game, why are these two basically ignoring each other? Why does noone else mention something!? Gah i wish i was in the game right now!

*sigh* Final six. Both mods in the game are still left. Neither of them should make it thru a TC without immunity idol.

Unfinished business from last year?! I was right! I no longer feel bad for turning on Trista last game.


Final 2 thoughts:
Both of you were the lead members of your respective tribes. Being able to direct traffic without making anyone aware/upset all the way to the final 2 is amazing, regardless of the reasons. That is twice you two made it to the final 4 and twice that you, MGH, have made it to the final 2. Regardless of who wins tonight, that speaks volumes.

Trista... didn't talk to you much in the first game... and even less this game(other than to iron out a potential volatile situation). I really have no idea how you worked to get here other than from what other people had said.

MGH... you made it to the finals for a 2nd time playing the same game. Thing is, you have the Russell syndrome... make it to the end no matter what, no matter who you upset in the process. Which isn't always bad, but you make needless promises and needlessly make people upset.

Example... I was on vacation for a week during this game. The only person I believe I told this directly to was MGH. He knew exactly when I was going to be gone, and when I was going to be back. I told him that if my absense caused problems for the tribe, I would understand if he voted me off. But he told me there was no way I was leaving. Yet there I was, on the last day of my vacation, and find out that I'm gone(why he did I won't discussed here, but I have my theories). Further information came that this was the plan from the get go. Was it a problem that I was eliminated? Nope. Did he needlessly guarantee my safety then go back on it? Yes. Now, I'm not part of the jury... so in the end, how he handled that would not come back to haunt him. But last game he did the same thing.. and that time he did make jurors angry with him, and probably a large reason I got the votes I did. I can only guess that similar situations arised with other players in this game. MGH, you a strong player... maybe the strongest this game will ever see... but you can't deny you shoot yourself in the foot when it comes to the end game.

I'm rooting for you MGH(did you ever have a vote against you?). And that may be cause I only know your side of everything. You put in alot of effort in both games. Would suck for you to come just short twice... cause if you did... you would be even more like Russell.

Along with Toates' video speech this was another awesome idea. I'm glad someone thought to do this. It's fascinating to read from someone who was on the outside from the merge onward.

I do want to refute this a *little* bit though. You're totally right in saying I play like Russell to a degree. Ironic, considering when watching Survivor I hate his game and think it's fool's gold. Yet when I get going on here, it's the only way I find myself capable of playing. Probably means I'm not that great of a player in the first place, at least if I can't cash in on a win this time.

But I'll take a little issue with you on it from this game. The first game you're absolutely right. Like when we voted out TheSam, even though someone from the old opposing tribe was still standing. I said it was to possibly get rid of the immunity idol. Well, I clearly knew I had it. It was a dick move. Not intending to be one, but it ends up being one.

But I do feel like this game was different. When I told you that you weren't going anywhere, that was meant to be true. I had no intention of getting rid of you when you went on vacation. I'd have to look back to remember what happened to make me do it when I did, but you were supposed to be around at least one more tribal council. I had to lie to Bergman because if I didn't either 1) I was gone within the first two tribal councils, or 2) i was gone at the hands of the immunity idol eventually. I didn't even align with you and Ritt just to intend to stab you in the back later. I wasn't even thinking of aligning with you guys (thought it would be too obvious), but you two approached me first and by that time I was panicked about being the first one eliminated. You two gave me a life preserver and I took it. I promised Spartan final 3, and we got there.

Like I said, I don't fight you at all on the first game. I even said it in one of my jury answers - I didn't deserve to win the first game. I dicked over people, lost the immunity challenge that would have gotten me the chance to take someone I thought I could beat, and you out dueled me at Final Tribal. Totally deserved the loss there. In this game I played along the same lines, but not as the same person. Everything I did had a real purpose. I don't know if I'll win or not (I'm expecting not but hoping for the best), but I don't feel I did the misdeeds here that I did in the first game. I appreciate you rooting for me. Coming from a great player that means something

The biggest thing I like about this game is trying to figure people out. I like to consider myself very observant.

Add to my post above... I messaged MGH and ritt a list of 4 people that could have won the HII. Even ranked them on who I thought most likely had it. Berg was #2... on that list. And when friskey was eliminated, he became #1. Turns out I was right.

Conspiracy theory alert!
I never believed MGH would take me to final 2/3(yes, I was told he would be 'happy to make it to the final 2/3 with me again' ). I expected him to turn on me sooner or later.. I even told him that in my inital comment to him.

There were not a whole lot of 'tells' given up until the merge... but once merged, everything seemed to happen. Was hoping to last long enough to formulate something and turn it. Had I made it to merge, I probably would have made a move. MGH(and possibly trista) probably knew that I was capable of doing something like that and eliminated me when the chance presented itself(and I wasn't here to plead my case).

I then decided to try to decipher what would happen the rest of the way. The only real suprise to me was berg. HII aside, i still thought he was going to last a few more rounds.

My games were actually different last time vs this time... not by choice, but out of my real life interfering(stoopid vacation )

i voted for mgh. Nearly all of both of your moves were done together so that didn't influnence me much. He just made a good point when he said that he stuck to his word with me (all we ever talked about was the final three) while you were deceiving me throughout (me and you had pm'ed about the finals a lot). But you definitely played a very strong game, and shouldn't regret a thing.
