Gratz to both of you and especially you MGH. For the record I voted Trista. You both played a great game, and even though I tried to push you on the jury interview I do admire you both. What it came down to for me was I told Trista I had no doubt I had no place in her alliance after the tribal draft but I just wanted to make it to the jury. She got me there, so she got my vote.

so, who voted for who and why Well, get ready for a shock, my vote went to MGH. At the end of the day I was able to look pass everything. It's all I wanted from him and even though he didn't put his trust into me the one time I asked, I finally got what I wanted, the truth. Also, for the record, it was never my intent to 'turn' on you Trista and MGH. AS MGH will prove, it was a decision I made knowing that if we all got to the final 6 it would lead to votes with me, giving me my choice of who to get rid of, a choice MGH talked about from the minute I got the idol. But someone talked, and I went out way sooner than I should have. Looking back on it, I played a really shitty game in retrospect. I know that I could have won this game had I just played differently. I'm not sure if I'd do it again, maybe I'd host, but doing this again would drive me crazy since I know how well I can play, but one stupid mistake cost me each time.

I voted for MGH. Trista your answer to me was pretty good but not really enough to overcome my qualm. I don't hate you seem to think though.

Just a rough check who would want to play another round and when would be a good time to start? I would be willing to host another but not for at least a couple weeks.

I'm taking the next one off, but Ritt if you would want some help with challenges and what not I'd gladly give you a hand.

I'm in.
And for the record, MGH would have gotten my vote as well.

I'm in...
I voted for MGH because of something he said to me. He told me he was afraid that Trista would get the win because he did, in his words, "all the dirty work." He got the blood on his hands, and she reaped the benefits. You may be a son of a bitch, MGH, but you're the one that said it to my face. You earned this, and congratulations.

I voted for MGH, because through it all, it appeared based on the interviews and the way the game played out, that he was more on top of the game and in control of what went down than trista. Plus, I had a waiter today named Trista at all-you-can-wings night, and she didn't coat my second order of wings with enough sauce. *wink*
If I weren't so tired, I'd post more (as I had planned to do from the get-go). But my "tell all" is that I was approached by three people within my tribe to build an alliance: Sweet, ritt, and Bergman. There seemed to be a fairly clear divide with Sweet and ritt sorta on the same page. Since it seemed Bergman's alliance had more to fight against, it seemed like we could pull if off if we played smart. All three had me left with me doubts though. Bergman sent me an obvious form letter as his alliance request, Sweet was buttering me up with a comment about being one of the strongest competitors in the past Survivor (which isn't true, because I got left behind in that game during the L-O-N-G dead period and then NO ONE PM'ed or warned that the game had even fired up again). ritt just strikes me as a hard to trust with his over-enthusiasm sometimes, so I didn't know what to do about him. (Turns out, I should have gotten with him really quickly and worked it out.) So yeah, it was Bergman. That alliance (as advertised) was *at first* Bergman, me, unorginalalex, Square, and Lodi. When Square went missing in action for ever so long, he was out and Brainbustaaah was in.
In the meantime, I was still open to PMs from the likes of MGH, ritt, and Sweet, and I was voting along the lines of what they all wanted, because it fit all fine and dandy with what the Bergman "alliance" wanted.
Leaving out a lot of the back-and-forth conversations, I openly pledged to both Bergman and unoriginalalex (who I was PMing together and most often) that I would never vote either of them out. As things got down to the nitty gritty, I got the feeling that some of our other alliance members were getting a little flaky, so I took a more active role in the alliance. (It was a few rounds before I got eliminated that I knew unoriginalalex was probably the one going to turn on me, because she was always so non-committal in her ideas about who to vote for until Bergman or I made a suggestion.
Finally, after it was obvious that we had the game on lockdown for the three of us to make final 3 if we just voted out Street Spartan or Madhack when we had the chance (the ritt elimination round), we rallied to get enough votes to pull it off. I loved that round because Bergman and unoriginalalex were playing the role well, and everything was really mayhem in trying to get voters on the same page. To unoriginalalex's credit, when she undercut me in that round after working my butt off to secure an alliance victory, she didn't really lie to me at all the whole time. It would have been a "wow, what a SNEAK!" moment if she would've just played along the whole time, but she spent the whole time trying to convince me that ritt was the most threatening vote. I basically outlined the logic clear as day, and when she still "didn't get it," it was obvious she was in MGH's horde. (The most frustrating part of that was that unoriginalalex was CLEARLY a pawn in trista/MGH's game, and I was hoping she would see that she would make it much further with Bergman and me than she ever would with those two and hopefully convert. That didn't happen, of course.)
Again, Brainbustaaah was the contestant I had a soft spot for, especially in the later rounds. I'm pretty loyal to my word, however, and since I already openly declared to unoriginalalex and Bergman that I would never vote against them, I wasn't going to go back on that, despite the fact that unoriginalalex was coming across as a turncoat just before ritt's elimination. Brainbustaaah sort of had an "I don't care if I ever talk to Peggy W." attitude early on, I didn't get a chance to establish a loyalty to him right off the bat.
I thought about trying to campaign to get MGH out early, but he's a good guy really, and I think that getting rid of the very best in the early is a disgrace to the game, so I wanted to keep him on as long as possible without ruining the game for him. If I had gone with campaigning to get rid of him early, I probably would have found out Bergman's alliance with him sooner, which I really didn't pick up on much at all. I thought we could get rid of Street Spartan, then trista, and then MGH, in that order once we got to the merge. (I had NOTHING against Street Spartan at all--love that guy--but I was afraid to tackle the "big dogs" when all heck was breaking lose in that ritt elimination round. I thought Street Spartan was just an easier mark--and an obvious FAN trista alliance member to get the questionable voters behind.)
Oh, and by the way, Bergman going along with me in the vote against Street Spartan wasn't as bad as MGH and trista made it out to be. Little did they know that I had listed name-by-name who was going to be in on that allied vote, so I was actually (unintentionally) convincing ritt and Brainbustaaah that Bergman was A-ok. I can't speak for either of them, but I did pretty much vouch for Bergman in that whole process; whether or not they bought it is another story. He sure did get me.
Oh, and at one point, I was PMing Z-A Sandbaggin' to get something going to get Jonathan Michaels and trista OUT of that tribe before the numbers over there overmatched him and everyone else. (I was convinced our tribe was the strongest in challenges and at least "pretending" to work together, so the numbers were likely to sway in our favor.) If Z-A Sandbaggin' or whoever could get trista out, I knew the head of the snake over there would be cut off, and MGH would be left scrambling while the rest of us in W.I.N. would benefit (at least the first and second parts of that theory were true).

Literally the moment I saw the messages from Trista telling me the vote was for ritt, I immediately knew I was going home, frankly, I didn't understand why they were bothering to blindside me, seeing as how I missed the challenge and was the obvious choice to get voted off.

I don't remember saying that... *goes back to read pm* Ah... i see how that could be confused. I didn't say that you had been strong in the survivor challenges... i said you were 'probably the strongest challenge players on the entire team.' Had nothing with how you played the game, but how I thought of you as a person. I think, regardless of the game, you would be strong in challenges.

Hey so I have not watched/followed this season, and only popped in to look now, but... How could you (no one specific) allow Trista and MGH get to the end!? Those two were tight the first game! ((Just light-hearted hypothetical questions/commentary from a viewer watching the reunion. No offense meant here. I haven't followed the game, so don't mind me. I'm sure everyone did swell.))

Being that there are two people already confirmed to not be rejoining, I don't see any problems... Just have to keep watch for the new Survivor thread and join in when it shows up.
