Japanese people die like they do in video games? All of their powers and skills bounce out in colorful shapes and Hero happened to grab the Elbow power-up when Misawa died? Or the fact that before he died, Misawa gave Hero an emerald elbow pad as a sign of respect. Hero had been using the elbow gimmick for a little while already, and the tribute from and to Misawa just added to it. You mean what I said wasn't true nor serious? Shocking!

I also don't get the complaints about Hero throwing many elbows in a match. To me that is the same thing as Claudio throwing a million uppercuts in a match, yet I never really hear complaints about the uppercuts. He was a lot worse with them around '08 - early '09 where his entire matches seemed to be a bunch of elbows thrown around with little else. Also unlike rolling elbows, European Uppercuts aren't really seen as finishers on their own. Claudio usually ony gets the pin after the springing running uppercut or the one where he throws his opponent in the air then catches them on the way down. With Hero he did rolling elbows all the time. It's just that he'd eventually hit one and the match was over. It could be really anticlimatic to have the match suddenly stopped dead like that.

Im a big Chris Hero fan and based on look and charisma I think both him and Claudio will end up the the WWE soon.

Exactly. He's cooled down on them, but there are still a few times (see BOLA 2010 Finals match) where he just goes overboard with them.

The deal with going overboard was the same with Nigel and the lariats. One of the dominant Japanese styles is about the cumulative effect of damage. So at first if you don't succeed, try, try again. A move he knows is devastating/effective, rather than going to a secondary move. Think about it like an MLB pitcher using his 99mph heater over and over again. He'll mix in his off-speed pitch to keep guys honest. Use it to throw everything off. But the fastball is his bread and butter. So when push comes to shove, that's going to be his main weapon. So the deal with using it in the U.S. is overuse to establish it, then live with it being an overpowering, ever-present part of the arsenal.

His elbows...they are many, and they can be lethal.

All I know about Hero is that he makes Unclad go all fainty and swoony, so he must be something.

Maybe I'll try getting into PWG again, if he's cooled off.

He's getting his fare share of boos now that he's sort of abandoned the sleeze gimmick and reverted back to a technical wizard/Hollywood superstar gimmick.

The superkick/rolling elbow face off was one of the stupidest yhings i've ever seen. Then on top of that, after 50,000,000 kicks and elbows the match ends with a small package? That was really weird.

Going back to his ROH work, I had this thought after reading the spoilers... {Spoiler}With the Briscoes feud ending, and their next challengers being the All Night Express, it'd be a really good time to turn the KOW babyface. The fans are ready for it.

So does that mean there's only 4 or 5 teams left in ROH? KoW, ANX, Cole & O'Reilly, Bravado Bros and whoever is in Embassy? Excluding outside tag teams who make 1 or 2 appearances per year (Haas & Benjamin, Up In Smoke)

{Spoiler}At the Final Battle PPV, Haas and Benjamin "officially" said they'd be regulars on the ROH roster, so that's one more challenge for the Kings. That said, I agree with the KOW babyface turn.

Now I've seen my fair share of wrestling matches, as I'm sure we all have, but that ending...oh ho ho boy... that ending, it easily made it's way into my Top 20 Most Awkward Match Endings Ever.
