Hero has always been one of my favorite wrestlers. I'm glad to see that he's improved tremendously over the past two years. I haven't been keeping up with Ring of Honor or PWG for a year or so now, but from what I've heard, he's improved a LOT since early-2009.
I remember reading something about popular indy guys getting paid the same, if not more than most WWE guys, especially with tours in Japan, which Hero tours frequently. So if he's getting paid the same amount of money and is allowed to have much more freedom on the indies, I don't see why he wouldn't stay there for the rest of his career, to be honest. I guess it all comes down to how Hero feels on the indies. I know Dragon left because the indies wasn't offering him anything he didn't already have, and he wrestled about every match there was to wrestle, and I guess it has to be a dream of every wrestler to go to the WWE sooner or later. It looks as if Hero is approaching that curve, I still see an ROH World Title run somewhere down the line, and maybe have him wrap his indy career up from there. I actually wouldn't mind seeing Hero in the WWE, I think he'd be a perfect fit, he's great in the ring, he's improved tremendously on the mic, and he has that charisma that draws people into his character.
On a side note, does anyone remember Hero's 90 Minute match with CM Punk? I believe it was in IWA: MS, I still have yet to hear of a match in North America going longer than 90 Minutes. The only match I know of that comes close is the 74 Minute 2/3 falls match with Danielson/Aries from ROH Testing the Limit in 2004.

I've read that there's good money to be had as a Danielson or Richards or Cabana or KOW on the indie scene, but there is zero chance it pays as well as being a WWE superstar who wrestles on PPV every month and is featured regularly. Probably pays more than what Yoshi Tatsu makes, but not by a whole lot.

If he/she is popular enough, can probably make more money that a lowcarder, but something the indys will never give you and WWE will is financial security. What happens if Chris Hero gets injured and has to rest for, lets say, 6 months?. He will get no income for that period of time (assuming he wrestles full time like Claudio does) and will have to look for a job to maintain himself. In the WWE he will get a paycheck every week, even if he is injured or not being used.

The show was "When Hero Met Punk" they also rematched in wXw "When Hero Met Punk In Germany" CZW had the High Stakes match which was a little over an hour, 20 I believe. Twas Mondo, Messiah, Justice Pain and Adam Flash

I appear to be the only living person that does not see the big deal about Chris Hero. He's a fine enough wrestler, sure. But there is just something so..meh about him. In any incarnation. Serious or goofy. Claudio, I get it. Hero? Nope. Agreed.
