Honestly, this made me an even bigger Barrett fan. I thought it was really suave, yet really badass at the same time. Then it was ditched completely due to the Nexus invasion. Let us have a moment of silence for "The Coat."

I thought you meant The Miz's badass coat he wore for awhile.

Thought it looked really stupid. Almost as bad as Jacob Novak's white coat.

I like the coat and rose, but I think the character he's evolved into is much more interesting than Cocky Englishman #23.

How has the character changed really? One had a coat, one had a t-shirt. His character hasn't changed at all.

Yes, he should bring back the coat, and the rose.
Right now he's "generic guy with black trunks"
He needs to go back to being the English hardman with a sense of class.

I just think faction leader/diabolical mastermind Wade Barrett is more interesting than Evil Foreigner Wade Barrett. Of course if he comes out next week in full Roman regalia, the best of all possible worlds will be achieved.

The coat sadly screams midcarder. Miz didn't get taken seriously until he stop wearing the fedora and bedazzled shorts.

Seriously guys. A coat is definitely a midcard thing. I mean, a main eventer wearing a coat? That's the most ridiculous thing I've ever hea- Oh.

I think I said it in many posts that I'm tired of T-Shirt wrestlers. What happened to the days where everyone had costumes and stood out? Bring back the coat!

I would rather Barrett dress like a soccer hooligan. I do agree his trunks are generic but wearing his original coat would just be a band-aid.

I didn't like the coat at first but I've warmed up to it a lot now. I'd quite like it if he came out with it now he just seems to have trunks. But yes, toga would be the best possible situation. A gold laurel wreath would totally suit him *swoon*

The coat was fantastic, particularly how he threw it off when he did the mat-slap then pointing up. Just stick a yellow flower in the lapel, and boom.

Saying that wearing an entrance coat screams midcarder would be like saying that only midcarders could get away with dressing like white rappers.
