So, now that Nexus has given the boot to the man that's given us a reason to care about this angle...how do you feel? Do you like it, hate it, did it happen way too soon or has it made you hate this angle? As far as the aftermath... {Spoiler}Wade has apparently jumped to Smackdown, as a heel, and attacked Big Show. No Nexus followup? Really? Thoughts on all of this?

I thought it would've been more heelish for Punk to help Barrett.

Well, I don't think a Barrett/Punk feud over the leadership of Nexus would go over with the crowds very well. {Spoiler}While it makes Barrett look like a quitter for not continuing to feud with Punk, SmackDown does need him more right now, what with their small roster. I'll have to see how he gets booked on SmackDown to decide if this is truly for the better.

Nay.
That boot killed Nexus for me. I realized that I was only a fan of Wade and Skip and that Nexus lost their luster after SummerSlam. I was all ready to get a Nexus shirt when I went to the Rumble too...but now I just don't care.

I'll have to see how he gets booked on SmackDown to decide if this is truly for the better. I really thought they were going to go slow with the Punk/ Barrett tension before having them feud over the leadership. Punk put Barrett over a lot leading up to Barrett's return so that's why it boggled my mind why he stabbed him in the back so soon. As far as what you said... {Spoiler}I'm also at least to give Barrett on Smackdown a chance to see where it goes. I just think it's absolute garbage that in several weeks time, Barrett goes from being the ruthless Nexus leader, to caving in to the demands of his group to reinstate Cena, to giving Cena exactly that he wants in matches with Otunga and himself, to getting brutalized, to getting overtaken as leader, to injuring Cena, to getting the boot, to getting shipped to Smackdown. That's a hell of a sentence. For what he meant to the angle, we deserve followup on Caesar's vicious backstabbing. Instead, they take the easy way out and ship him to the blue brand. Unacceptable.

{Spoiler}Maybe his move to SD is punishment for injuring Cena.

{Spoiler}Maybe his move to SD is punishment for injuring Cena. {Spoiler}I'm not so sure. Cena seems to be an up and up guy. He stuck up for Daniel Bryan when he was fired. I don't see him being upset at all for what happened. Accidents happen. Now...if WWE management themselves are punishing him this way...they can f off. We'll know the answer to that by the time any Barrett/Show program is over.

Barrett should not have been on tv for weeks while Punk continues his dominance.
Then finally have Wade come out, be convinced he is still leader, tell Punk "Thanks for keeping my spot warm, now bugger off" and have Nexus turn on him, putting him in a tweener role.
Not saying he would have to team with Cena, but it would be interesting to see their interaction after both being on the receiving end of a Nexus beating.
Or it could lead to a match between Nexus and the WWE where Barrett is on team WWE, and it was a swerve all along to be the mole on the WWE team, he turns on them and Nexus is now officially in charge of Raw.
I dunno. Anything would have been better than what they did on Raw.

Barrett should have seen it coming. Barrett still thought of himself as the leader of Nexus. There's no way Punk was going to have Barrett stick around and undermine him. Put it this way, when a new king wants to usurps the throne usually the first things they do is kill the old king. That way there can be no challenge to his authority. {Spoiler}As for Barrett moving to Smackdown, I don't like it. It makes him look like he's running from Punk & Nexus. A Punk/Barrett feud would be a good placeholder while Cena recovers. Then Barrett could move on to Nexus.
After Mania if they wanted to move him to Smack down then that would have been okay. There are other wrestlers Raw can send to Smackdown if they need to.

I am giving this the too soon treatment. {Spoiler}Yay for Barrett to move to a place where he could cement himself as a main event heel, yeah he maybe getting the rub by going against Big Show of all people but at least he can start somewhere fresh, It would of been easier for him to move to SD! after TLC, instead of that small program with Punk
However, the way they just stranded Wade like that was just all sudden, no follow up? are you serious WWE, can't a guy get pissed off because the stable HE created has been taken over, can't he get any retribution? anything?

Nay. I'm a Nexus mark, but I don't see how it's the kind of stable CM Punk could really lead. Maybe it's just a visual thing. Barrett was larger than all other Nexus. CM Punk is smaller than all other Nexus. I can't help but think of the old FBI when I think of Punk leading them, and I don't want them to become comedy wrestlers. That would suck.

I've been a huge fan of the Nexus since their debut and frankly without him there wouldn't be one from a kayfabe stand point
and he's been the voice of the group since its inception
if you thought Nexus looked odd without Skip and Tarver out with injuries just imagine how strnage it'll be without Wade

It just doesn't feel right without Wade. It's like the Four Horsemen without Flair or AA.

I think Barrett on SD could be a really good thing, i for one would LOVE to see him against a few people from SD (DCR, ADR, Taker, Kane) after all nexus did help Kane bury taker didnt they so whos to say this isnt going to end up in some form of an alliance with Kane
