By the way. I had to mention it as I looked back. Isn't Gold Kryptonite in wrestling terms the one that causes permanent loss of drawing powers?

Darren Young will replace John Cena, with a little makeup

I don't wish injury on Cena, and I hope he recovers as soon as possible, but kayfabe wise this is the perfect time for him to be injured. This is going to put Punk and Nexus over in a big way, and with Morrison having a world title shot this is a great opportunity for him to be pushed to the main event. You could also use this time to test out guys like Daniel Bryan and R-Truth as upper midcarders, maybe having them main event a couple of Raw's in tag matches (e.g. Randy Orton, Daniel Bryan and John Morrison vs. CM Punk, The Miz and Sheamus).
However, what I'm afraid will happen is that Triple H returns earlier than expected and continually beats up Punk and Nexus week after week, leaving them in the same position they were after TLC. And of course when Cena returns he'll no doubt be pushed to the world title again like in 2008.

To clarify, I think I'm one of the few who wasn't overly excited by the CM Punk/Cena/Nexus angle because I already know the end result. Cena will beat them all eventually. Whoopie. With Cena out, perhaps Punk/Nexus can run the show for a while until Cena gets back, which might make things more interesting for me personally. More mic time for Punk while he's controlling a dominant faction? Yes, please. Sign me up for that. why do you want heels running the show? We've seen that with the nWo, the Corporation, even to some extent the Horsemen. The wrestling matches are no better and everyone not on the heel faction comes across as idiots. I think it's more to do with the top faces being terribly bland. Orton is dull and monotone, Cena's predictable and one-dimensional, and HHH has been doing the same routine for years. While they are undoubtedly the focus of the show they're uniformly boring when they're in a position of dominance. This is often less of an issue when the heels are running the show - "the devil always has the best lines".

Compared to Orton, Cena is insanely entertaining

If cena is out, mcmahon has to be freaking though because of wrestlemania. I'm guessing this is really going to make vince push hard to get goldberg or brock or somebody.

Out of 6 main event match participants from WM26 (HBK v Taker, Cena v Batista, Edge v Jericho), only ONE (Edge) is currently active, with two retired, two injured and one on leave. That is INSANE. And that's not even mentioning Triple H being out since April.

Im personally EXCITED as hell about this.
Sure it sucks he's hurt and that blows, but this is a MASSIVE opportunity for the WWE to be forced into a corner and finally create some major players.
For so long HHH, Orton and Cena have dominated Raw. The longer they're out the scene at any given moment, the better the product is.
It's like that glass roof gets another crack.

How is this bad timing? The CM Punk led Nexus starts its first week by being able to say "We took out Cena." Don't get me wrong, I'm sorry he's injured if he is because regardless of what I think of him, no one needs to be seriously hurt. Well, it's more of the fact that the WWE would like a lucrative program between CM Punk and John Cena that can go several months. Hell, this could've been the main event of WrestleMania XXVII. If this is a legit injury, than that means that they might have to scramble for alternatives. *cues Motorhead*

I hope he's OK. Not only because I'm pumped to see where Punxus goes from here.

If true, then they need to give Morrison the belt on Monday, if only until the Rumble.

You just know that somewhere out there, a Daniel Bryan fan is cackling to himself whilst crossing out the name "John Cena" on his chalkboard.
In all seriousness though, this is really bad. A Wrestlemania without Cena is a big problem.

Sign me up for a Morrison push. He should take the title off Miz on Raw setting up a feud with Punxus. I say this because Morrison and Punk have great ring chemistry. They had some great matches back on ECW. Miz is in a tough position with such a heel heavy show. If HHH is ready I'd have him feud with Miz. Orton could continue feuding with Shaemus. Their last match was good.

Let Miz win the match on Monday and have Morrison win the RR. Build a feud and Morrison towards WM.

I don't see how anyone doesn't see anything but HHH coming back, honestly.
A Morrison title run? Come on, guys.
