I don't see how anyone doesn't see anything but HHH coming back, honestly. A Morrison title run? Come on, guys. SOMEONE needs to be built up as a top face (Orton can't carry the face load of the show alone unless they actually start writing angles around him instead of just throwing him out there and expecting people to pop for him), and Morrison's the one closest to it, right now. WWE is extremely low on face wrestlers, overall, right now.

Considering how heavily the balance of power would tip towards the heels' favor on Raw with an absence of Cena (TNA's Immortal is a good example of that sort of thing getting out of hand), HHH might even out the show's dynamic.

So... I guess we know who's drawing #30 at the Rumble.
Vince backstage: "GOT 'EM AGAIN! MUAHAHAHAHA!"

If it wasn't for the fact that he still "has" to feud with HHH, I wouldn't be opposed to turning Sheamus face at this point. Put the belt on Morrison on Monday, and have him have a series of matches with Sheamus that becomes a "Respect" feud.

The longer we wait to hear more on this, the more serious I think it may be.
WWE reads the dirtsheets. They know that people know he was hurt. If it wasn't serious, you'd think something would've come out to stop the guessing games.

The last time we had two top stars out during Mania was 2000, with Austin and Taker on the shelf, and that one was horrible. Here's hoping we don't get a repeat of that.

Why not have Kane & X-Pac blow off their feud in a singles match instead of a tag? Head Cheese vs. T&A? Bossman & Buchanan vs. Godfather & D'Lo? And who came up with the team of Chyna and Too Cool? They all had beef with the Radicalz, but that was as random a team as you can get.

Just the booking. Just like right now, I think you can produce a good Wrestlemania because you still have good talent. The booking is where the problem is.

Hell, that was the first Mania I saw, and even now I barely remember a thing save for the ME, the ladder match, and Angle/Jericho/Thin Air

I find it odd how some of the most serious injuries come from house shows.

I think it would definitely have been a positive if Cena took time off after being fired, just due to his work schedule. My fear with Cena is he maybe ridden like rented mule, and little bits of time off here and there would help. Cena doesn't get injured all THAT often, but having some time off here and there would have probably helped out a bit more.
Hopefully whatever happened was just a stinger, or something small.

While I'm not a fan of John Cena the character, I hate to see anyone get hurt. Even if this is just a minor thing hopefully it will convince Vince that he has GOT TO get a new group of stars groomed and pushed. Yeah a few years ago you could lose a Cena, HBK, Undertaker, HHH, Batista, Orton, Flair, Ray, JBL, or Edge because they had a decent enough rosters to take the hit.
But right now in terms of big established top tier stars they only have:
Orton Edge Ray HHH (?)
and that's it. This is a real opportunity for
Punk (past year pushed him back down from that top tier IMO) Barrett Miz JoMo Sheamus DBD Ted Jr
on the Raw side to really step up big time and really establish themselves. It's a damn shame that MVP left/was released because I always thought he was a guy that could be a lower uppercard player, especially as a heel.

Porbably not a particularly large arena, so that's why they're using the smaller cage.

I had a dream last night where I was hanging out with Linda McMahon and John Cena showed up to inform her of his injury and that he would be out for 9 months.
so if John Cena is out for 9 months, well then you heard it here first.
(side note to all the comments about the cage: that's the exact same cage they use for all house shows/dark matches. It's easy and quick to for them to assemble.)

i was actually half expecting Barrett to turn face (or at least tweener) after the rest of nexus went over to Team Punk this past RAW. an "i brought you all here after you got eliminated and now you side with one of the guys we took out instead of me?" type of thing leading to a repeat of the uneasy Cena/Orton alliances of the past only this time between Barrett and Cena using the old "who can help you beat nexus better than me john?" scenario.
don't think the fans er universe will buy Barrett as a face without him siding with Cena/Orton though. kinda ironic that after all the time he was on screen while "fired", shortly after cena gets "rehired" that he's out of action.
hopefully cena's not hurt that badly and recovers soon. though honestly i won't mind not seeing him on my TV so much.

And Vince tries even harder to get Brock to come back. Heck, when is Angle's contract up? Because if it's up within the next few months, Vince will throw everything at Angle. ...oh my god, you know who I just realized is another big name who's not under contract to any promotion at the moment and would probably be open to coming in to lend WWE some star power? KEVIN f***ING NASH No Nash resigned with TNA about a month ago. I think HHH is the likely return sooner then planned if Cena can't go. Or they really push Morrison hard. But still they need that extra mega star draw. Morrison or anybody will not be that over in a short period of time. Unless they talk in Goldberg who was rumored to be in the HOF next year for the WCW thing of that was even true.

He was injured at House, so does that mean he doesn't have Lupus? Zing! What's all this talk about a second big star out, is Taker injured too? The last time we had two top stars out during Mania was 2000, with Austin and Taker on the shelf, and that one was horrible. Here's hoping we don't get a repeat of that. It was horrible buuuuut it could have been a good main event if they just made it Rock vs HHH. Anytime the second biggest match on a ppv is Rikishi/Kane v. X-Pac/Road Dogg, you know you're in trouble. The only good thing to come out of the ppv was this: www.wwe.com/shows/wrestlemania/history/wrestlemania22/wmdivas/wm2000photos/
