In having both zero interest in this feud & in, frankly, being embarrassed to be a wrestling fan because of the fued context ? Well am I alone, or do others feel this way?

Okay, I can understand having no interest in it, but really, out of everything in not only TNA, but wrestling in general, THIS is the angle that makes you embarrassed to be a fan?

Yeah, I thought the feud was fine until the Days of Our Lives BS started.

Yes, because I just know it is going to be so shooty in an attempt to be egdy & "real". Granted other current wrestling angles & gimmicks are far more campy, but I just feel this is going to be terrible. I absolutely hate, hate, HATE when promotions bring in something from a wreslter's real life and dress it up as part of the show turning it into semi-kayfabe.

Another thing why the hell is this the main story leading into Thursday Impact? What happened to the Immortal beatdown of the Champ Anderson & RVD? Isn't Anderson & RVD's struggles/quest for revenge more important than this soap opera inspired crap? After all it involves both the heavyweight title & the newest big name wreslter who has signed with the company. For that matter what about the new "They" storyline? TNA, your promotion boggles my mind!

This thing isn't really new. This happened all the way back in 2009, when Jarrett was out in the first place, and they fit it in when Foley was looking for someone to help him stop Hogan coming in. Then it got brought back up after BFG when Jarrett pointed out how he took everything from Angle, from his wife and family to his career. So, it's less starting a shooty angle, and just continuing it from back in October of last year when they started it. Maybe it's cause I'm used to it by now, and it at least fits with Jarrett's motivation of taking everything Angle ever had away from him.

I just hope they don't bring Kurt & Karen's, and/or JJ's, kids into the storyline as on air talent (for lack of a better term). Knowing TNA, and Russo, I'm really concerned this might very well happen as the angle continues to progress.

I will say overall, this was the most fast-forwarded episode of TNA I've watched on my DVR in at least a year...
It was almost getting watchable again, and then, bleh. Maybe spent a total of 10 minutes on the whole thing. Even MCMG vs Beer Money is getting stale, which is FRIGHTENING...
But yeah, as soon as I saw Karen, I was like "Oh, boy...", and the fast forward speed doubled. And it was already pretty fast given the Pope promo...
Why is it that every time Bischoff gets to run a company, he just ends up making it a crappier version of the one he's trying to compete with? What the hell was wrong with a spot fest X-Division and a women's division where women wrestled? I was content with that... *sigh*

Jarrett and Angle are two of my all time favorites, and Karen is hot. And not to mention it's angle (ha) that has some background too it from years ago.

Karen is, IMO, a good example of plastic surgery. She has that plastic surgery looking face but it looks good.

I absolutely love the angle. The intensity that Angle has showed in the early stages of this feud definitely makes me believe I am watching something more then a wrestling storyline. There are real emotions involved and reality TV is what sells and it has showed already in the ratings.
Usually TNA does decent in the first hour and then gradually looses steam for the rest of the show. Well the same was true this week after a strong start but this time the rating went up after it lost steam when this angle aired. It also makes me want to watch the following week which Impact rarely does to the viewer

Angle-HHH-Steph. A FICTIONAL STORYLINE. Triple H and Stephanie didn't get together till after it ended. That storyline was universally praised for being compelling and leading to good matches... until it died a slow death. This storyline? It's not compelling. Because it requires a user manual of information TNA hasn't properly explained on air. In terms of TNA, Karen was last majorly involved in a Kurt-AJ Styles storyline. Now she suddenly shows up and is with Jarrett? Not to mention how Kurt and Jarrett have feuded so many times that there's little 'fresh' they can do in regards to matches.

Nope, don't care one thing about it. And Karen, while hot, has always been annoying as hell on the mic. Not in a heel way, in a change the channel way. Kurt and Jeff can both do much better work than this dumb storyline.

I didn't care previously and I care even less now. The fued was already boring, now it's unwatchable.

Can't stand this feud and why it's positioned as so ~*super important*~ Karen Jarrett is boring, and Kurt's retired so how will this be settled in the ring anyway?

I think a heel "stealing" another wrestler's wife is as good a basis for a feud as any.
It certainly didn't seem to do Matt Hardy & Edge any harm.

Karen is naturally annoying, good heel. Plus she's easy on the eyes. In this role I don't mind having her back.
Don't know if this angle will be any good, especially since it's based on some ugly, uncomfortable reality, have to let it play-out.

Why they feel the need to do this, when they could simply have extended/tweaked the JJ MMA storyline - OK Jeff, says Kurt, if you're so hot, let's do this amateur wrestling style. I'm an Olympic Gold Medallist remember?
Instead they take a path that is probably going to irritate more existing fans than it pleases, is, as danimal said above, based on an uncomfortable reality and, in all honesty, is unlikely to be of the remotest interest to casual fans/potential new viewers. So exactly how is it such a great idea again?
