Yeah. She was considered a phenom. I think that perception has since dropped though. Or at least I hope so. She's been in 92 LPGA tournaments. She's won a grand total of 2 of them. That's a win percentage of just 2%. It has dropped, because she completely flamed out. That was the period of golf where the media was obsessed with women getting into the PGA tour, and she was supposed to break the barrier. Instead, she was just awful. Flame out is unfair. She's one of the top 10 female golfers in the world right now in a sport dominated by international players.

Dirk does the goofiest things to promote the team, and I love every single one of them.

Sad thing is, right now, I think that's the story of his career. He's like the Phil Mickelson of basketball. Closest thing I can think of is Michelle Wie. She wasn't the face of golf,of course, but she was considered a phenom. Well then things should work out for LeBron then. Phil has 4 majors and is know remembered more as a modern day Palmer than a choke artist. AS far as the Wie comment, it's pretty apt. Sure Creamer came along and kinda becme the 'it' girl for the LPGA, but if Wie was dominating it would push a lot more monet into the sport. Another Comparison would be Freddy Adu for MLS, but he wasn't ever really any good. True, Mickelson was finally able to drop it. But for a long time, that was his identity, he could always get close, but never finish.

One more. Please Dallas, just win the next one. Avenge the Game 6 loss and let's celebrate on Miami's home floor. The time to crush them is now.

What is this, I don't even.... It was the early 2000s. A lot of people made regrettable decisions back then.

Is there any chance another Mavs player has a chance to claim the Finals MVP other than Dirk if they have a monster game or two in South Beach?

Assuming Dallas wins it all, the only way Dirk doesn't win the Finals MVP is if he's charged with a serious crime between now and then. I'm talking major Class A felony here, brutally murdering someone. If it were something like manslaughter or kidnapping, though, I think he still has a good shot of winning it.

I think Dirk has it locked up. I think Dirk is going to have a monster game Sunday. He's playing like he's on a mission and nothing is stopping him. I feel 2006 has motivated him to the level of Larry Bird honestly.

I will say this for the Heat: They have the next two games at home and the best player in the world on their side. I wouldn't start writing their death certificate just yet.

A title likely would seal Dirk's status as maybe the best European NBA'er ever.
