Well, I ordered the Royal Rumble/No Way Out 2003 Tagged Classics release from B&N, along with Wrestlemania XX. Might be about it for awhile, too, as my spending money's almost exhausted itself, hahaha. I'd like to at least get MITB 2011 before really taking a break though. And about the $5 bins, I've never seen any PPVs in them. The only WWE releases I've seen in them are the Mr. Perfect, Andre, and WCCW DVDs, and I remember reading that someone found the Piper and Jake Roberts Pick Your Poison DVDs in there. I've also been reading Bad Booking's DVD lists he's put together and they're solid, and a very good read besides. Great work!

Thats quite a good steal right there. Thats what the thrill of the hunt is all about! I've got a Koch version of Vengeance 2002 I bought for like $20 two or three years ago. Essentially its the same as the US version, but only has an unskippable Koch logo for like 10 seconds before the FBI warning.

It's been a labor of love, especially the part three I'm working on. You know it's bad when in two days you write 5000+ words and only have about 40% done of the entry! XD

Royal Rumble Anthology Vol. 1 arrived in the mail today. I'm impressed at how much improved the packaging is over the Wrestlemania Anthology that I have Vol. 4 of, it's much sturdier. I'm so happy to finally own the greatest moment of WWF History: Ax vs Smash.

I got my copy of Vengeance 02, for Xmas in 2003, because I saw on clearance on Shopzone for 10.00 and asked my mother to get it for me. I knew it was a Shopzone exclusive, but had no idea it would become as sought after as it is.

Yeah, it doesn't look like they've got a location down around Evansville. There are a few of them in Illinois and Michigan and one in Lexington, KY though (dunno how close Lexington and Evansville are, exactly). There are three relatively around here, one really close and the other two a bit less so. In addition to WWE releases, you can generally find a surprising amount of pretty rare or hard-to-find movies, TV shows, and games, all for usually amazing prices. I love the place. Well, Lexington is about 45 minutes to an hour from Louisville, so just add travel time from Evansville to Louisville and you'd have it. I actually did not know about this store and, if it were not so close to Christmas, I'd go for it. I REALLY need to work on my collecting as I go in fits and starts. The only big claims to fame I have for "rare" DVDs is WWE Confidential Vol. 1, WM XX, WM X-8 and the Circuit City exclusive Piper. Oh and Wal-Mart exclusive Hogan Ultimate Anthology.

Thanks for the info, I tend to stay here in central IN. Looks like it's a ways away from Evansville though, three or so hours. I'd fully recommend Disc Replay. I've found WrestleMania XIX for $9.99, KOTR 2001 for $4.99 (and 2002 for $6.99), and Vengeance 2001 for $6.99 there, and a ton of other WWE events ranging from $2.22 to $9.99, usually all in good to great condition. The most expensive PPV I've seen there was I think WrestleMania XX, which they had for $22.99. It's a great place. Also, congrats to Tommy D for the amazing score on Judgment Day 2002! That really is a hell of a steal, considering the huge prices for it online. Now you can see the world's worst-ever chokeslam the way it was always meant to be watched, hahaha.

I've seen those, along with Dusty's, Cena's first one, Trish, Lesnar, Edge: Decade of Decadence, Taker: He Buries Them Alive, Shawn Michaels Boyhood Dream, Cause Stone Cold Said So, and Bret's. FYI to everyone check your Wal Mart, mine had Survivor Series 2009 and 2010 in a 2 pack for $10. I picked them up, so now that means the only Survivor Series events I don't have are 1997-2001.

I got that, it was the only one they had left in stock. Also forgot to mention that I have also seen the Trish DVD in the $5 bins, but the selection you've seen...wow. Wish they had all those here, hahaha. My orders from B&N came in today and it's slightly disappointing when it comes to WMXX. Apparently they rereleased the event somewhere down the line, since it came in a regular DVD case with all three discs stacked atop each other inside. At least I have the event though(with all the special features still intact, to boot), and that's the most important thing.

That's my version of XX too, and my disc two is almost scratched to hell .

For those with a MovieStop nearby, they are having a "Buy 2 Get 1 Free" deal on used sports DVDs, which of course includes WWE discs. I made a killing there recently. For a grand total of just over $18 I got Wrestlemania 2000, Best of Raw Vol. 1 & 2, and Mick Foley: Hard Knocks and Cheap Pops (all original and unblurred!)

The first two are worth more than $18 individually! That's a raping, pillaging, and anarchy!

Nice steals! I have a MovieStop as well....it's where I buy most of my wrestling dvds from. It's real hit and miss though with the used wrestling dvds. Sometimes get some good stuff....some stuff never shows...and other stuff should be priced a tad lower. I don't fully understand their pricing scale. I've gotten brand new dvds the day after release for $10 from there. I've never seen WM2000 or Raw 1&2 used.

Never forget to salute your sources LOL. That's my version of XX too, and my disc two is almost scratched to hell . Indeed, haha. Ladies and gentlemen, Bad Booking: grand poobah of Survivor Series recommendations! Your one-stop source of info on any and all elimination tag-based WWE events (and Survivor Series 2002). About WMXX, it's at least a good thing that the inside of the case has a holder accommodating all three discs; I've got a 2-disc PS2 game that comes in a standard PS2 case and if you don't put it in just correctly, the disc you put on top's liable to come out and roll around in the case, playing havoc with the disc surface. At least you don't have to worry about that with this, though potential scratching is of course still unreasonably high. Hearing about the MovieStop deal makes me wish there was one around. That is a steal, seems like luck abounds in this thread of late. That's the wow factor, right there.[/darrell]
