Anyone know of any recent "hidden" markdowns at any of the big box retail stores?
Any Black Friday sales for WWE dvds this week?
I've been holding off on picking up the new releases coming out that I want so I can get them on sale/used for a cheaper price. I don't have $20ish to spend on every dvd release.

I was actually just browsing through Amazon for WWE dvds and some things are under $20 - like, $16.99, $13.99 - but outside of some titles that are always $9.99 and under, there's nothing spectacular. Yet, anyways. Though the Royal Rumble box set is $79.91 which is a pretty good price for it. I haven't heard of any specific sales that are definitely going to happen so if someone does know of any, count me in as wanting to know too

I find the best deals on WWE DVDs are during Gohastings sales (either Free Shipping (the best deal for an item their below $7.60) or 30% off (the best deal for an item above $7.60), sometimes buy 2 get 1 for $1 (if they average out to an agreeable price per item), after a year or two the sets can often be found used for about $5-$8 and most PPVs around $3-$5.

Well watched the Austin dvd today I picked up yesterday.
It's a solid dvd release. The docu portion is short (45min region) but does have some interesting bits and it has lots of extras I liked from ECW and other matches and best moments.
For $5 it's more than worth it.

Took advantage of Silver Vision's Black Friday sales and ordered SummerSlam 2007 and the John Cena Experience. I'm more interested in the JCE to be honest. I've heard good things about it so does anyone want to back that up?

I took advantage of it on Black Friday. I'm not going to complain about being able to get Hell in a Cell 2011, Night of Champions 2011, Bret vs Shawn, DX: The Last Stand, and Money in the Bank 2010 for about $55 after the 20% off code. Took advantage of Silver Vision's Black Friday sales and ordered SummerSlam 2007 and the John Cena Experience. I'm more interested in the JCE to be honest. I've heard good things about it so does anyone want to back that up? John Cena Experience is a good DVD. I may be biased since I'm a Cena fan, but it is good. You'll get to see how he has seemingly aged 15 to 20 years in less than 10. Cena's got to be the hardest working wrestler out there today.

This is not DVD related but VHS related,Does anyone know if the ECW VHS's by Pioneer are considered rare? The DVD versions are, I will tell you that. I got lucky to get my hands on a few though. I have all four PPV DVDs that Pioneer released. I have only two compilation DVDs, which are Extreme Evolution and Path of Destruction. Anyway, a couple of weeks ago, I came across King of the Ring 2000, InVasion, and Survivor Series 2001 at Dimple Records. I couldn't pass them up, especially since they are so rare and it would have been rather likely for someone to beat me to them.

King of the Ring 2000 is perhaps the cheapest WWF-labelled DVD to purchase. Not a joke. SS 2001 however can be pretty expensive on a good day. Invasion's in the middle.

I know that and I read that KOTR was the worst PPV of 2000, but still. I did the right thing for Survivor Series, because the price on Amazon is rather pricey. It's even the same for Survivor Series 2000, which I also bought a year ago at the same place. I got lucky.

I saw in the K-Mart Sunday flyer that the Austin dvd that comes out tomorrow is on sale for 17.99. Figured I'd pass it along.

I just bought the DX and 21st Century Superstar BLU-RAYS for $29 SHIPPED at WWE.com. That's right, they're normally 20-30 apiece, and got them on the doorbuster for a huge discount!
