I found an ad on Craigslist of someone selling a bunch of WWE DVDs. I contacted them and made an offer and they agreed to it through email. I think I'm making out very nicely, but let me know what you guys think before I actually do it... I give him $250 for... Backlash 07 No Way Out 07 New Years Revolution 06 & 07 Cyber Sunder 06 Armageddon 04 & 06 December to Dismember 06 No Mercy 02, 03, & 06 Unforgiven 02, 03, & 06 Great American Bash 04 & 06 Roddy Piper DVD Vince McMahon DVD Kane DVD Bad Blood 03 Vengeance 03 & 06 Judgment Day 03 & 06 Global Warning Legacy of Stone Cold Steve Austin Hardy Boyz: Twist of Fate Brian Pillman DVD (most recent) HHH DVD Undertaker DVD Best of the IC Title Eddie Guerrero DVD HBK- Boyhood Dreams Hulk Hogan DVD(the one released a few years ago) Monday Night Wars Ric Flair DVD (first DVD set) 2005 PPV Set (15 discs) Overall it's 51 PPVs/wrestler sets for $250, which is slightly less that $5 each. Seems like an amazing deal to me, especially as someone who is trying to get back into collecting DVDs. Also, any advice on how to handle a CL transaction like this? I mentioned meeting in a public place to ensure safety & legitimacy for all involved, which the other party is fine with...but I still get nervous about CL transactions... That doesn't sound too bad, as long as they are in good shape.

Wal-Mart has Extreme Rules 2009/2010 and Royal Rumble 2009/2010 as dual box sets for 10 bucks each. I picked up both, just for being so cheap.

Picked up King of the Ring 2000 in good condition for 12. I remember getting this one on PPV back in the day.

Lately, I've been thinking about getting the Diva DVDs, as well as the VHS of "Postcard from the Carribean". Now I heard that a lot of Diva DVDs are mostly a waste, unless someone buys them just to see beautiful women in swimsuits. Don't get me wrong, I love watching half-naked women as much as the next guy, but I still remember reading the induction of "Divas in Hedonism". Personally, it all depends. I also saw how much Divas Undressed is on Amazon. I wonder if there was more on the DVD than what was shown on TNN when it aired. Yes, I stayed up at midnight to watch it back then. I was 16 then and it was summer and on a Saturday, so no real bedtime.

I guess I COULD try a different site for once, rather than Amazon.

If you're really patient Gohastings occasionally has free shipping sales that would save you $2.28/item. But things do go out of stock, and it's not a huge amount of money.

The funny part is, the used version is 10.50, but they sell it new less than 4 bucks. I went ahead and got it because even with shipping it was only 6 something altogether. But yeah, checking out different sites is a good idea.
Gohastings has awesome prices, but terrible shipping, so wait for free shipping deals. Alibris has good deals sometime, as does half.com. I'm at work now, but later I'll post a useful tool for finding prices.
As for my surprise.... Well I was at a flea market Saturday, and I found some old Coliseum tapes. On friggen BETA!! I'll post pics soon.

Unforgiven 2001, Survivor Series 2000 showed up today, Royal Rumbles 00, and 01 are on the way. I'm worried about the NWO DVD though.
According to eBay the guy still hasn't shipped it yet, on top of that he charged me an extra dollar after the auction ended. I think this dude is pissed that only I bid on it, and won it for 20 bucks.
I know it's a rare DVD but he should have seen it coming since it is January after all. He better not screw me out of it, or he can kiss his 100% positive feedback rating goodbye.

Picked up the Royal Rumble 2008 metal tin edition brand new without any dents for 15. Pretty happy with this as I love these collectors tins on DVDs.

I don't really like the steelbooks much personally because they are so bulky. In fact the only one I have is the "Ulitmate" version of Wrestlemania 23 that was a Circuit City exclusive.

If you want to go back a few pages, you can see mine too! I got my tin while FYE was doing a BOGO on WWE DVD's (and I had a ton of money in gift cards), and put my multiple-autographed copy of the PPV in there. In addition, my pics are on Page 6! They're all in spoiler tags because of the difference in sizes of the pics (some are small some are pretty large).

Just came back from Wal-Mart, and picked up a two-pack: the 2009 & 2010 Royal Rumble DVD's for $10! Nothing real special about the box they were put in, but it is a real bargain, and might become rare, so SNAP THEM UP!

It's a new trend for WWE concerning their 2 and 3 disc selections. It's not a surprise to me because every other studio has done it, but it is not only a major inconvenience but makes the product feel cheaper. It only started with the High Flyer set if I remember correctly.

If you're talking about the tin there ToyMark, every store had that one. I think CC might have had a collectible card or two inside their tin. I know at Wal-Mart, where I got mine, it was a combo of this: 1. 3-Disc in a Tin 2. 2-Disc by itself 3. 2-Disc packaged with From the Vault: Shawn Michaels

Are any of the Blu Rays really worth buying? Like, really good extras or anything, or is it just the HD that makes them so expensive?

Are any of the Blu Rays really worth buying? Like, really good extras or anything, or is it just the HD that makes them so expensive? Most of the newer Blu-Rays have whole episodes of RAW and/or SMACKDOWN the week before the PPV as a second disc.
