You know WWE makes crappy things look better than they are on DVD, right? If you watched it during the time it aired, it would have been a human struggle to get through No the crappy thing is that it's hosted by todd grisham. He is just awful if you thought he sucked it up as an announcer this is like 10 times worse. In a way, I want to get that RAW Diva Search DVD, but what is it exactly? Is it like a documentary-type of program that has footage from RAWs that had Diva Search segments from 2004? Or was it that special that aired on Spike back in the summer of 2004? The whole documentary is an hour & 24 min It has bios (some with photoshoot footage) and interviews with all the hopefuls as well as recap style videos for all the girls and goes week by week. One of the extras is the complete Pie Eating contest segment with The Rock once he comes out. Oddly enough his comment about the weed in anaheim to that loud fan is totally not censored. EGADS!!!!!!!! What have they done to my gimmick Battle Royal? ? I'm watching disc 2 of Bobby Heenans and immidiately I hear Theodore R. Long's nwa/wcw theme instead of tutti frutti for Mean Gene. Heenan's got new music........ Kamala's got new music........ Jim Cornette's got new music........ Nikolai Volkoff's got new music........ {Spoiler}The one that was supposed to go to Vladimir Kozlov during his double double E days Hillbilly Jim's got new music........ For some reason they cut out part of Brother Love's entrance and cut to a shot of a guy adjusting mean gene's wires and removes one from off his jacket Alritey then........ I think i'll stick to watching it on my WM X7 dvd thank you very much. HOLY SMOKES DIESEL! Bobby's DVD now may hold the distinction of being the cheapest in history . Yeah, my X-7 DVD isn't going anywhere anytime soon either.

Honestly, alot of those Bio DVDs I'll just watch the bio, then they go on he shelf. The good aspect of that is rediscovering them when I wanna check out a match or something.

Im just glad they ditched that "documentary between matches" format they were using in 08. I didnt buy the austin, hhh, kane, rock, or edge dvds for that reason (though i might pick them up if i can find them cheaper), especially since all those guys deserve a documentary dvd.

One thing that I loved from the Legacy of Stone Cold & Eddie Guerrero dvds is that there were vs. screen shots before every match. That needs to be a staple of all dvds

Well its been awhile since I brought this up, but here is an example of the WWF Beta tapes I found! Behold! Now the cases are the same size as the VHS cases, in fact they are the exact same except for this..... Now you see where it says Beta? Thats just a sticker, underneath it says VHS. But....... The you open the case and find the Beta goodness inside! So basically they stuffed Beta tapes into VHS clamshells, and simply put a Beta sticker on the spine. Yeah I can see these being pretty hard to find.

Summerslam 1998 and Wrestlemania 14 are awesome PPV's if you can pick them up. In a legal way, I suggest buying the tapes and then converting them to DVD/

Big Show's DVD will have the monster truck challenge and his match with Hogan from Halloween Havoc 95. Should be fun to see I did see about the match, but not the sumo truck challenge. The 'Crap gods love me so very very much. I had the whole PPV on VHS until my dog peed on the box and ruined the tape. Lost Uncensored with the Steel Cage Tower of Doom match the same way. But once again, I get to revel in the joy of the YETAHHH!!!

I dunno why I dislike 98 and 99 so much, I just do lol. Love 97, 00, 01, but I can't get into 98, and 99 at all except for a select few things.

BTW guys, I do believe those Tagged Classics are on sale on Amazon UK. They listed in pounds at 12.99, but when I put them in my "basket" they went to 10.63. Now after the currency exchange they'll be 22 and change in American dollars, but that is with shipping included. So I'd strike now, some of them are about to sell out as well. Just letting you know.

Ello there, I'm the guy who runs WWEDVDNews. Noticed some talk about it here which is good to see! Hope you're enjoying it and finding it useful Welcome to The Crap! Does anyone happen to know which version of The Rock: Just Bring It is rarer? The original version is a single disc WWF release, while the special edition is a 2 disc WWE release (although I don't think there is any blurring or audio edits). I picked up the 2 disc version for 5.99, with shipping 8.98. I was going on the assumption that the 2 disc version is rarer. I could easily be wrong though. Also on gohastings.com, I have a cart with like 30 WWE DVD's in it just waiting for a free shipping deal. I realize that by the time that happens some of them will be gone, but if by some miracle they are all still there it will only be like 75 bucks for all of them.

In my experience the 2-disc version is the rarer one. Also if I recall, another interesting tidbit about them (other than the WWF/WWE logos) is the single disc version is "region 0/free" and the 2-disc is Region 1. They brought in the region coding around then.
I remember because I was a big seller of wrestling DVDs on eBay UK and the single disc one was easier to sell in terms of the region compatibility. Though the "collectors edition" had that rarity factor, never released in Europe.

The best part about The Rock: Just Bring It is the promos. I remember buying the 2-disc version for those alone. I remember that being one of the first DVDs I bought with my own money. A little delayed, but here's my wrestling DVD/Blu-ray collection! I have mostly everything I want released so far, there's maybe 20 or so more things I need to get in order to fill in some holes. Link due to size, this picture is HUGE: img171.imageshack.us/img171/2810/dsc00596et.jpgAlso, sorry about the weird angle of the picture. Flash can really ruin pictures sometimes!

The selling guy selling the Rock DVD claims it's still factory sealed. We'll see about that, as long as it's in good condition. I've been very lucky so far. All the DVDs I've bought so far have been in really good shape.

One thing I find annoying about the Royal Rumble Anthology discs, is that there are literally 30 chapters in a match for when specifically "x" and "x" comes out. Just be forewarned to use the FF function, and not the "Skip" function because to get to certain sections, you might have to press "Skip" multiple times.

Wow I've never noticed that, I always just let Rumbles just play out though really, probably why I never noticed it.
