The biggest gift WWE could give to me, is the 3 ring battle royal from world war 3 96 on Big Show's dvd. That would make up for any other rehashed matches or dull encounters they fill the rest of the set with.

No the crappy thing is that it's hosted by todd grisham. He is just awful if you thought he sucked it up as an announcer this is like 10 times worse. The whole documentary is an hour & 24 min It has bios (some with photoshoot footage) and interviews with all the hopefuls as well as recap style videos for all the girls and goes week by week. One of the extras is the complete Pie Eating contest segment with The Rock once he comes out. Oddly enough his comment about the weed in anaheim to that loud fan is totally not censored. EGADS!!!!!!!! What have they done to my gimmick Battle Royal? ? I'm watching disc 2 of Bobby Heenans and immidiately I hear Theodore R. Long's nwa/wcw theme instead of tutti frutti for Mean Gene. Heenan's got new music........ Kamala's got new music........ Jim Cornette's got new music........ Nikolai Volkoff's got new music........ {Spoiler}The one that was supposed to go to Vladimir Kozlov during his double double E days Hillbilly Jim's got new music........ For some reason they cut out part of Brother Love's entrance and cut to a shot of a guy adjusting mean gene's wires and removes one from off his jacket Alritey then........ I think i'll stick to watching it on my WM X7 dvd thank you very much. HOLY SMOKES DIESEL! Bobby's DVD now may hold the distinction of being the cheapest in history . Yeah, my X-7 DVD isn't going anywhere anytime soon either. Geez I wish they'd make up thier damn minds. I'm watching Old School RAW now from the Survivor Series blu-ray and there's tutti fruitti for Mean Gene's entrance music. You know... Watching the NWO DVD again reminded me why I got rid of it in the first place. The documentary is terrible.... Well its terrible given the subject matter. Its like you get maybe a half hour of their history in WCW, and that only goes up until The Giant joins for the first time, then its instant fast forward to 2002. To be fair this was one of, if not the first documentary style DVD's they did post WCW purchase. And I think they learned a lot of lessons from this trainwreck. I got really, really lucky in getting this for only 20 bucks. The only reason really to own this is because its so rare. Unless you're a sucker for bad WWE documentaries. So if you can find this cheap, then by all means get it, just don't expect very much. But seriously, don't pay some outrageous price this if you don't have to. I still have mine but yea the doc was severely lacking. No mention of the nWo's feud with Sting. No mention of the Wolfpac or anything. No Kevin Nash interviews at all on the program either. Could have been So much better

Can't wait for it. I got mine ordered on Amazon already, but I'm not paying for the first day shipping, I can wait a few more days. But it looks to be a great WWE Blu Ray.

So instead of Best of Nitro seasons 1 & 2, its not just gonna be The Best of Nitro, and it will cover the shows entire run. Thats probably gonna rub some of you the wrong way. The Wrestlemania documentary is getting its named changed to The True Story of Wrestlemania. Thats fine, sounds a little better actually.
I Might get me a few more Tagged Classics. Not a bunch at once, but maybe buying one every few weeks. Maybe some from 1997. The one with IYH 13 and 16 is very tempting. They have one with Survivor Series 97, and 98 but its kinda expensive.

I got EC 2010, and I was really happy to see that the Undertaker/HBK promo was on the disc, until I noticed they changed the song...which ruins it for me.

No Way Out 2000/Backlash 2000 came yesterday along with the Collectors Edition of The Rock: Just Bring It. I got a nice surprise with the Rock DVD. It was listed as like new when I ordered it. When it showed up it was actually still sealed! Its like the the only time someone can lie about a product description and it turns out to be a good thing. Considering I only paid 8 bucks (with shipping), thats awesome.
I'm also heavilly debating on whether or not to get the Big Show set. I wanna try keep getting every WWE Blu ray that comes out, as I have all 12 that have been released in the US so far, plus I have already paid for Best of Raw 2010 Blu.
Its just that the Big Show set is sooooo unappealing to me. I may just get it, and keep it sealed. Its one of those times that being a collector sucks lol.

I'm not sure if it's been mentioned or not but on this day I saw clearly that Wal Mart had Edge's Decade of Decadence DVD for $5 (The DVD itself was still marked for $13.00, but the row in the aisle was marked $5 and it rang up as such). I kind of have abysmally low expectations for this, as I imagine I'll have seen most of the matches by the time I finish the 02-09 PPVs, but figured it was worth it for the extras.

See the Walmart close to me had the Edge, and Savage DVD's for 13 bucks, and I got my uncle the Savage DVD for Christmas, and it rang up 13 bucks. Noooooo fair lol. But that was over a month ago so I could see them dropping the prices.

FYE is going out of business in my hometown so I was able to snag the Survivor Series volume 2 anthology discs for $24.
I thought it was a decent deal. I know wwe.com had both that one and volume 1 for around $50 but I didn't really feel like waiting.
Are the FYE tin case DVDs any rare? I found Survivor Series 07 and 08 in the tin cases and I could get them for roughly $4 each. I wasn't sure if they are any more special for being in those cases.
------- 1 More thing.
I have a lot of old VHS tapes that I can't even watch any more due to no VHS player. I'm looking to sell some of them. All of them are originals. I have a lot more than just this, but if you're interested in them, or looking for others just PM me.
- I figured I'd give you guys a shot before I venture into the world of Ebay...but I'd rather send them off to people here that do collect tapes and such.
Royal Rumble: 1989 (w/o box), 1990, 1991, 1993, 1994, 1997, 1998, 1999
Summerslam: 1990, 1995
Survivor Series: 1988 (w/o box), 1990, 1992, 1993, 1996

Thanks for looking that up. Thing is I don't want it that much, as I'd much rather have complete shows. I can see myself throwing it in one day if the price falls enough at gohastings during a free shipping sale or if something else works out to bring it to around $5 total.

Well complete shows are nice, except for all those terrible Ronnie Garvin vs. Dino Bravo type matches that always took place as the last match lulz. I mean there are 2 ways you can get complete shows, but of course I can't actually mention how. Honestly though I give the SNME DVD my highest possible recommendation. Its my absolute favorite WWE DVD that isn't super rare, or a really good PPV. My only complaint is that there are 2 matches that aren't on there that I really wanted. Both from the same show actually, July 29th, 1989. Brutus Beefcake vs. Randy Savage Brainbusters vs Demolition (Busters win the tag titles) That Beefcake/Savage match is really really good IMO, it gets overshadowed because of the non finish, and the Zeus crap that happens at the end. If you can find a way to check it out, then by all means do. I think its a great TV match.

Picked up another Tagged Classic. King of the Ring 93/94. I guess I just wanna hear Art Donovan babble about fellas, and how much they weigh. Too bad Sheamus wasn't around back then.
