If Hogan can go without taking a serious injury, that's great. I honestly wouldn't mind seeing one last match from Hogan if he's in the shape to do it. BFG would be the perfect card for Sting vs. Hogan and it still gives Hogan plenty of time to get ready. Yes. I'd also love to see it. Hogan more than likely won't be able to do much with his hip and leg condition but still...I'd mark out.

Logic dictates that this match does happen based on their on screen heat and difference in ideology. But they are a bit too old to carry a ppv. This match with this build would have been great...ten plus years ago.

You can have Hogan get his big comeuppance without him having a match, it just takes this little thing known in some rare circles as clever booking. Course, no one here actually explains what that "clever booking" idea even is, and I'm guessing they don't know either...... ![:P](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/tongue.png) Well I know what it isn't, it isn't putting a 57 year old man who's back is held together by a steel rod in a wrestling match.

I believe there will be a different champion by then. Sting will likely put that person over and thereby making them a strong figure. Then he and Hogan can have the attraction match I wouldn't mind seeing

I think I'll wait to see them actually announce the match. News sites seem to report "Hogan main events next PPV! OMG NO LOL," every other month.

Besides, despite the caricature of him that everyone likes to paint, Hogan is smart enough to know he doesn't need to be in a match to blow off this Immortal feud. This is precisely WHY Immortal exists -- to let Hogan have a feud with others wrestling the matches for him.

Probably a lot of Immortal interference to pad the match out and take bumps that Hogan just can't take. He can probably take a Scorpion Death Drop, since that basically just means taking a back bump while Sting falls with him, but the rest would need to be punching and filler.

Just what the world has been wanting to see: the rematch to Starrcade 1997 nearly 14 years later!

This isn't about TNA booking. This isn't about TNA, period; I do acknowledge that there are those out there who would bash TNA booking for the sole fact that it is TNA booking. Hell, this isn't about the idea that the setup is based around a feud that hasn't been hot since Clinton was in office. This is about, first and foremost, the fact that Hogan is being held together by Elmer's and rubber bands. No amount of rehabbing is going to make it not dangerous for him to take a bump. This isn't Shawn Michaels or Kurt Angle who have had few, if significant, physical flaws. Time, nor the business, have been kind to Hogan.
There was a shoot interview that Gregory Helms did, where he mentioned something called a "bump card;" essentially, everyone has a (finite) amount of bumps they can take, and for every bump they take, it goes on that card. Well, in Hogan's case, I can't fathom if there's room for a slip and fall or not. For his sake, I hope he doesn't do this. If he does, he's out of his mind.

I can't get myself excited by this. Dream matchs by two legends are supposed to be between guys that have never faced one another. This is pointless. I know that Hogan and Sting have been at opposite ends of the scheme of things in TNA but they should use their star power to bring new blood into it and make them wrestle one another. That's how you use old legends.

Just say'n That's because both of them are still mobile. The difference is Austin knows his days of in-ring action are over. I'm not sure if Hogan knows that his time is up.
