Bane looks pretty cool.
What do we know about the plot for sure so far?

I'm liking the Bane look so far. As Rorschach and Friskey have stated, it's most likely a prototype. I can't wait to see his final costume.

Bane sucks I'm still pissed Riddler is not the main villian. Or Black Mask.

We really know very little about this film.
We know Bane is in it, and we know Selina Kyle is in it (but not necessarily Catwoman, though I would assume). I think we know there is a child Ra's and rumours have indicated potentially Talia will show up. We know JGL is playing a random cop.
There was a big rumour about Hugo Strange being the villain, but that has since been generally written off due to his use in Arkham City.
But in terms of the actual story, do we know anything at all?
Also, just to go back to the Bane look, I agree that Nolan's take here has made Bane look a lot more Mortal Kombat than anything else. Bane isn't really that unrealistic looking anyway, I think his mask would have been fine as it was.
It may be sacrilige to say it, but I'm glad their will be another reboot after this one, to take Batman back to his more comic'y roots. Nolan's films are good and well made, but none have really captured me in any way beyond his Ra's being perfetly cast. His Joker (while the role asked was played brilliantly) wasn't really 'right' to me, and his Two Face was too serious for me.
Ah well, I'm still looking forward to this film, but I guess I just prefer my 'K-Mart Magneto' to uber SRS stuff

I have no doubt that everyone who says they hate the look of Bane, will love it once the movie comes out.

I wanna see a frontal shot of this Bane, to get a good look at the mask. At least he bulked up to the right size, and he doesn't give off a "big, strong, mumbling retard" vibe in this picture.

I still dislike that Joker, as I pointed out in my post.
I wonder if Catwoman will actually be Catwoman and how she'll look in SRS-batverse

The Bane mask could cover a little more of the face, but honestly, after reading about what Aronofsky wanted to do with Batman, I can't help but give Nolan the benefit of the doubt. At least with his vision I can tell who everyone's supposed to be.

i remember when the image of the joker came out (may 21st actually) and this forum exploded in anger over it....there were probably about 20 posters who said they were going to boycott the film and how Nolan is messing up, and how the joker should be perma white, and how horrible of a casting decision Heath was anyway because "he is nothing but a teen actor who plays stupid roles, and he was a gay cowboy, definately NOT the joker"
then the movie comes out...
i like how Bane looks, and im not gonna instantly hate it because its not an exact image from the comic book...

I disliked The Dark Knight but I love Tom Hardy, so I'm optimistic about what he does with Bane. He was incredible in "Bronson" and "Inception", so he's the right guy to bring Bane to life.

Christopher Nolan is pretty much a directing God in my eyes, he can do no wrong. His take on Bane looks fine to me, I wasn't expecting the full mask to be honest and I simply can't wait for this film to come out.

Bane looks cool.
In other news Matthew Modine has been added to the cast. That is not unusual of Chris Nolan he usually throws in actors in his films that have not been in any major films for a while.
EG: Rutger Hauer, Tom Berenger, Eric Roberts, Michael Jai White, and Anthony Michael Hall.
Anyway Modine will be playing a character called Nixon. Probably just a minor character.

We're betting on getting a sequel to "Dark Knight" and Nolan is going to give us a sequel to "Frost/Nixon"! This fall....experience the thrilling sequel to the most INTENSE film of all time.... BANE/NIXON! ;D

If you're implying that people who hated the first Joker picture ended up loving it, you're wrong. I still think Nolan's version of the character looks like garbage. THIS is The Joker: I don't know what that scarred-up, face-paint nonsense was, because it's not the character. At all.

Count all the money you want, the point stands it wasnt universally loved nor did everyone change their mind on it.
Ledger played what he was given well, but what he was given was no Joker I wanted to see

Nolan has knocked the Batman movies out of the park and I'm greatly looking forward to this one. Admittedly, I am not a comic book fan and my only previous exposure to Batman was the 90's animated series, so I am not as familiar with the characters and not as devoted. I am fine with changes Nolan makes, its his movie and he has done well so far.
