Over on the superherohype forums, there are a few members on the set of the film, and they have been posting some really interesting pictures and ideas. I wouldn't call these spoilers, but some may... {Spoiler} Bane is shown standing on a camoflauge colored tumbler, tearing up a picture of Harvey Dent. This is leading some to believe Bane reveals Dent's true fate {Spoiler} Blackgate is dedicated to the memory of Harvey Dent, and there is a scene that involves one of the tumblers on set that blows the doors off the prison. {Spoiler} A major on-set rumor, is that Joseph Gorden-Levitt's character is actually the Joker in disguise, after somehow getting away from the police after Dark Knight. As for that third one....I'm not sure that the concept wouldn't make fans turn on this film in hatred. Too soon for anyone to fill them shoes yet, is what I glean from most everyone I talk to about that.

I really doubt that last thing, but I wouldn't be too opposed to it personally. I know a lot of people would, though.

Too soon for anyone to fill them shoes yet, is what I glean from most everyone I talk to about that. {Spoiler}See, and that's a big reason why I can't stand the Ledger love-fest. I totally understand liking the guy in the role, but to act as if a character with a 70 year history shouldn't go on existing in film is ludicrous. If Nolan had a plan for the character to continue in the franchise, he should be recast and it should move forward.
If it was a character created specifically for Heath Ledger it'd be one thing, but it's the frigging Joker. That character is bigger than any one actor. Besides, I'm sure Ledger himself would have been completely fine with it. He seemed like someone who didn't take himself or acting too seriously.

Is that JGL as the policeman?
If so that puts spoiler option 3 from above pretty much out of the picture

That would have to be a damn good disguise, and would be pretty stupid to boot

Perhaps. I have to imagine there is more to his character than "cop" though.

Pretty sure the cop is Asian, and I'm sure JGL is not.
Also, they should just make a sequel to the 89 Batman using those figures and voicework by the actors. Damn, Hot Toys make good work.

Even though Ledger's protray of the Joker was phenomenal, it's a comic book character. It wasn't a character made specifically for Ledger, it's a character who's been around for decades.
I understand Ledger's acting was great, and fans including me, loved how he played The Joker. But, I would love the see The Joker character in another one of these Batman movies, he's alway me favorite villian. The actor who play's the Joker probably won't be up to par with Ledger, but it'll be awesome to atleast see what became of The Joker after the last movie.

Somehow I have a feeling the Lazarus Pit or the Venom Serum is going to be introduced. There's no way they can keep Bane in that fashion and expect him to be a physical threat to Batman.

It's going to take some getting used to in regards to this incarnation of Bane. I'm having trouble getting past the lack of the lucha mask. {Spoiler}And I think people will be open to seeing the Joker again. Just not in Nolan's universe.

I don't know why people think a lucha mask would look anything but stupid in this version of Batman.

Because the mask we've got looks just as outlandish and out of place in Nolan's universe?
