What kind of medical/health issues was Brock dealing with? Diverticulitis. Horrible condition that led to him getting a foot of his small intestine/colon removed.

What kind of medical/health issues was Brock dealing with? Diverticulitis. He's has in twice in the last three years. They've had to remove long stretches of his intestines twice. The first time he got it he almost died because it was a hard diagnosis.

I don't know about you guys but I have no interest in seeing Brock in the WWE, the beating he will take on the mic from some guys for the last two fights will be BRUTAL.
He'll forever be seen as a guy who couldn't take a strike and tucked tail and ran back to the WWE in the mainstream media.

Heck at least Shogun isn't retired. Lost BJ and Brock this year, two out of three of my favorites this year have now retired.

He'll forever be seen as a guy who couldn't take a strike and tucked tail and ran back to the WWE in the mainstream media. Also the biggest PPV draw in MMA history. I think he gets a pass from this one because of his illness. He won't get ripped for this as much as he was after the Cain fight.

FYI: Brock Lesnar and "Back to WWE" are 1 and 3 trending worldwide on Twitter.

He'll forever be seen as a guy who couldn't take a strike and tucked tail and ran back to the WWE in the mainstream media. If that happens, it'll be revisionist history. His medical problems have been well documented. He wasn't anywhere near the fighter he was before them. Hell, the only reason he beat Shane Carwin is because he was poorly conditioned. The grind of juggling medical issues and MMA just don't mix.

I think he gets a pass from this one because of his illness. He won't get ripped for this as much as he was after the Cain fight. It is his choice. He shouldn't be fighting Stefan Struve or Pat Barry in a co-main event when he could be earning half a million for a Summerslam match or something. He is 34, he has proved he was at least competitive as 'real' fighter. Dana White is probably comitting suicide as we speak about how much money he is going to loose on ppv buys though.

I don't know why people are calling his UFC career a joke. He was champion, beat some of the best in the business, got sick, had surgeries, wasn't the same and decided to retire. OMG what a failure!

Brock basically did for the UFC (as a company) as Hulk Hogan did for the boom in wrestling. He has nothing left to prove.

They have his rights for the video games, they have a commercial relationship (they showed the big show superplex a couple of months ago), even Brock quoted he wouldn't turn down insane money for a program/match.
