Pleasantly surprised to see Florida State ranked so high. They've got most of their starters coming back and an advantageous schedule. If all goes well they could make a run at the national title, but I won't get my hopes up just yet.

It's at Tallahassee, and the Sooners are like a hothouse flower- they thrive at home, but can sometimes wither on the road.

I'm cautiously optimistic about LSU's chances to win it all this season. The last two times the BCS title game was in New Orleans, LSU made it and won it all.

I think LSU or Bama wins the title personally. LSU is top to bottom stacked but their issues at qb are the only thing that can truly hold them back I think. They'll only go as far as their qbs take them.

I can't wait for college football! Just wait until Central dom-
*remembers that all our good players recruited by Kelly are gone*
*remembers that the players Jones recruited aren't nearly as good*
*remembers that we 3-9 last year, and we play MSU this year*
Wow, we're going to suck so bad. I'll still be rooting for them though. The Big 10 Michigan clubs too.

I'm clearly missing something, I just don't see how Bama is ranked so high....top 10 sure...but #2 seems too high...especially over Oregon..
Although I guess it should be either Bama or LSU that sees South Carolina in the title game...but if Garcia plays like he is capable of, it'll be a great season...
But I can't wait to see what Lattimore is gonna do this year...and if Clowney is gonna make an immediate impact or not...

This is going to be a good year for the Hawkeyes. We'll bring back Floyd, be rewarded the new CyHawk, and become Heroes in the process.
Then come December we head to Indianapolis and take back our god damn Heartland.

Steve Kragthorpe stepped down as LSU Offensive Coordinator due to Parkinson's disease, will remain on staff as Quarterbacks coach; Offensive Line coach Greg Studrawa named Offensive Coordinator.

My pick? I may come to eat my words but Oklahoma will ose to someone somewhere, the polls will spit out (insert an SEC team with one loss here) who will play Florida State for the BCS national championship after FSU runs the table except against Florida. My beloved Aggies will avenge the primetime loss to OSU but will lose to Oklahoma or a resilient texas squad. I love and hate that they put A&M at #9. That may be a kind number. Working from underneeth is better for that team's motivation. I'd love a two year OU drumming in repayment of the shalackings they gave A&M in the mid 2000's.
Polls love Notre Dame and I used to as well, but as talented as Kelley is and as much as they are returning i do not see ND as a threat in the title picture. A Boise/ND Fiesta or Suger would be cool because it would be the believe the hype bowl for one of the two teams

I like how every single year Notre Dame is in the first poll, mainly based off of things that they did years ago, and then they collapse during the season.

The Bama defense is full of first round picks, probably the best defense in the nation. In terms of South Carolina, I had Alshon Jeffery and Lattimore on my fantasy team last year so I'm a huge fan of those two and I've grown to like the team a bit. Unfortunately, I don't think Garcia is good enough to take you to the title game. It kills me how all these years later, Spurrier hasn't found himself a stud qb.

I was talking to someone about that just a few days ago. Every poll, they're always ranked, when in the last decade, they've largely been pathetic by year's end.

And you've got to love how they'll win a few games, and people will be proclaiming that Notre Dame is back. The perfect end to this whole season would be Oklahoma beating Nebraska for the National Title. I'd love to see Sooners vs Huskers for the National Title, of course I'd also like to see both schools work out a deal where on the first weekend of every season they play each other. I just want to see the rivalry continue, despite them being in separate conferences.

I see the voters are unaware of the coming fury that is the Indiana Hoosiers. 6 wins, that's all I'm asking for. Decades of mediocre expectations mean that the Hoosiers are always pegged to be dead-last without blinking an eye. I, too, just want six wins... and a four-star defensive tackle in the next two years for the team.

I realised that after I posted, but then I remembered at the time everyone will be in either Indiana or Green Bay so Iowa can just walk right into Madison and take the trophy. Hawkeye players are very good at larceny.
