Too late now. Should have happened about 12 years ago. I doubt the younger WWE audience would even know who he is.

I wonder what kind of reaction Sting would get in WWE today considering that a lot of the audience probably doesn't even know who he is. Would they accept him just coming in and entering into a high profile match against The Undertaker or any other main eventer? The WWE puts him on DVDs, and the WWE would hype the hell out of Sting. So the audience would know who he is.

I don't see how Vince could make a Sting burial dvd anyways. Who could he get to badmouth Sting? He's universally loved and respected as far as I know.
As for the topic at hand, I see both sides. It's cool being the one big name to never sign with McMahon, but it would also be awesome to see the entrance he would get and the matches he could have. Also, I would freak the hell out for Sting/'Taker, and I would know there would be no way in hell Sting would win the Wrestlemania match. Now, something at SummerSlam/Survivor Series/Royal Rumble...sure.

I don't see how a burial DVD would work either, Sting is still well liked in the business almost universally, one DVD would not change that.

Sting should have at least one short run with WWE before he's done. But I'll believe it when I see it. With all due respect to TNA, it would be great to see Sting on the big stage one last time.

Sting and Sid are going to show up in WWE together as a tag team speaking about a higher power who turns out to be Brock Lesnar managed by Paul Heyman.

The match probably wouldn't be very good these days, but I want to see it solely for the spectacle of Sting and Taker facing off in a huge ass arena with people going nuts at Wrestlemania. Oh, I think if Taker and Sting were to have a match, especially a WM match, they'd both know they would have to bring their "A" game. And I think they would. It probably wouldn't be Savage/Steamboat at WM3, but I think it would be at least a **** star match, cause I honestly think both of them would do their damn best to make it a stellar match.

I just don't buy it anymore. Every year he says the same thing, right down to how they were closer than ever, then re-signs with TNA. I don't think he's ever really wanted to be in WWE and is only using them to get better money out of Dixie/TNA. Sting knows that TNA is afraid of him leaving, so he uses it to his advantage around Mania time to get a new sweetheart deal. I'm wondering what he's going to do this year since Dixie said this is his final year of active competition? Probably be like Hogan and make himself part of a big angle in order to keep himself around. I don't think Sting would do almost anything "like Hogan", especially as it pertains to power plays and leveraging. Sting is a genuine good guy and a professional. I honestly think the only reasons he hasn't gone to WWE are pretty simple: 1.) The WWE wants him for one match and a few guest spots, whatever. Then the Hall. That's it. Sting knows once he signs with the WWE, he's got one big match and then it's all basically over. Same with his back-and-forth on retirement. Some could see it as trying to leverage a better deal, but I just see it as a guy who isn't sure if he wants the book on Sting to be finished. 2. He could just be going with history. He's held out this long, why not finish as having never wrestled in the WWF/E? 3. He could just see himself as more useful to TNA. They need him more, he's allowed to be as involved with the younger talent as he wants, etc. He has free reign in TNA. In WWE, he goes in, does his promo or whatever, shakes some hands, and then is very politely asked to get out of the way. He can be involved in TNA and not have to travel that much away from his family. That's impossible with the WWE's schedule/travel. Most likely, I'm going with #1. SOOO many in this industry have a hard time deciding when to let go. Sting would have to almost be not human to not have the same dilemma.
