Hopefully he gets a name like, say, Chris Valiant, if he can't keep Hero. You can just change the move names to stuff like "Valiant Effort", etc. This is actually a brilliant suggestion! I desperately didn't want him to change, but I can totally dig this name. Seriously, please tweet it to him! He couldn't get something better. Glad you like it. On your suggestion I tweeted it to him, but I'm not expecting much.

I don't know if it was you, someone else from the thread or someone else entirely, but I saw someone mentioning it on the Something Awful wrestling subforum earlier! And you never know - remember the guy who made Brodus' Jurassic Park logo! ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png) Nikki - Will PM you so the pretty hair doesn't clog up the forum too much ![:D](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/grin.png)

Too lazy to read through the entire thread - is it 100% confirmed yet?

Too lazy to read through the entire thread - is it 100% confirmed yet? Yup. PWInsider had it first and the Torch and Dot Net have both confirmed. He's already training at FCW.

Because if there's one thing that Chris Hero needs, its more training. ![::)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/eyesroll.png) Just throw him out there for a few months to get used to the camera placement and pacing of the WWE style.

He needs to shake off some ring rust. You could tell by his performance at Final Battle.

Chris Hero always reminded me of a younger John Corbett (Northern Exposure, United States of Tara, My Big Fat Greek Wedding).

Getting used to camera placement and pacing pretty much is training. It's still getting used to how the WWE does things. There's a definite advantage in doing that.

It doesn't hurt to go to FCW for a few months to get polished which is what a lot of these indie talents do need. Plus the last guy who bypassed FCW (Sin Cara) had a horrible time adjusting.

And I think it also gives time for WWE to get a real grasp on how you'd work with WWE-trained guys and what to do with you, lest you get Braden Walker'ed. Even if you're a veteran in our field, if you go to a new job you're going to spend at least some time training, just because every place has it's own dynamic and it's own procedures and chain of command in place. Training isn't a derogatory word, it's part of acclimating to any new job.

Its just funny to me that a wrestler with as much experience in so many styles as Hero is undergoing training. I understand a couple months in FCW, because getting used to the hard camera and 7 minute matches is very hard to do coming straight from the indies.

It's for the best really, I mean, Sin Cara came in without going FCW & that went well! (I know different styles etc completely, but the point still stands)

Idk how people feel about the song but I love "Hero" by Skillet, and have always thought it'd be a good theme song for wrestling.

See, in the WWE as of late, coming in as a tag team pretty much seems to be a career death sentence, with what, Zack Ryder the only who has been able to escape Superstars/NXT? Since he technically was a tag wrestler before he got a singles run, I'd say you could add Otunga to that list.

I still think they should have his name be Kris Kros if they decide to do an FCW name for him now.
