So Rock gets the upper hand pretty much all last year and now Cena gets the revenge by rattling The Rock.
Yea mania is gonna be something else but with the way it's lookin now...Rock wins at mania because IMO tonight specifically was designed perfectly , tonight was a genius ploy in order to make Cena have the upper and I liked it Cena claiming all of that was dwayne...and Rock trying to assure himself and the people that it is the same person...tonight was definetly dwayne.

I don't want to root against The Rock. I really don't. *curls up in a ball and cries* I'm with you. I don't want to root for Cena, I really don't. I love The Rock. But you can't deny that Cena KILLED Rock with that promo. Really badly. Rock, you really let your fans down with that one. Honestly. |

The notes part had to be scripted. Someone as quick on his feet as The Rock is not going to need notes, unless he had trouble remembering Kung Pao Bitch.

I liked that exchange on both sides, actually. Rock got the crowd into it like he's always done and brought up most of what people complain about with Cena. He finally went on and responded to the Cena argument on air.
Then Cena finally moved on from the tired "I'm here and you're not, nana-nanana" garbage and legitimately looked like he wounded Rock. Cena's always had the ability to cut a really good promo, and he finally did one for me with just the right mix between talking trash and pushing the match.

Vince is going as low as having Cena screw up Rock's promo to have more people on Cena's side so they'll be more even? Especially with Cena calling Rock out on the wrist thing. Are you serious? This has turned the feud sour for me. I think I don't want to watch the damn match anymore after that crap. Damn. I really wanted some straight feuds, none of that underlying crap Cena pulled tonight. They let Cena stomp over Rock last week and now Cena stomps all over Rock this week in the middle of his promo. I'm officially pissed and turned off from this feud. Thank you WWE. Ummm...What? Nobody "let" Cena do anything. He went out there and told the truth. He did a little shooting and he also tried to get the match over. Oh that EVIL CENA! How dare you not let Rock insult you with twitter references for 10 minutes! |

Assuming it was the first time why make it glaringly obvious Rock had crib notes if not for Cena to point out to make him look weak. Rock normally wouldn't need them.

most promos are a ploy like that. I won't disagree at all, wrestling is theater. John Cena's the honorable hero against the Hollywood 2 bit phony The Rock like it's some Sid and Marty Krofft episode. To the indifference of everyone. the number of people talking here suggest otherwise. |

No one knows it was true but outside of interrupting him in the middle of his promo he had the audacity to say something like that? Come on now. You don't have to be a Cena fan to see something like that. The WWE just soured the feud. Rock should have had his promo time like Cena rather than Cena not only comiing out there after reading the script (like he supposedly was supposed to do according to the article). It's ridiculous. |
