Nice Qualifying position by Reubens there. If he's at least gotten half-way decent at running oval (judging by his Texas and Indy results, he ain't half bad) he might actually have a shot at winning this thing. I also noticed that the first two rows have all the major teams represented. He was really good at Indianapolis this year, which is closer to Milwaukee than it is to Texas. He didn't start at Texas due to mechanical issues, but he did qualify 12th which isn't bad for a rookie, which he really is on the ovals. He might have a chance at winning tomorrow, but KV Racing doesn't exactly inspire confidence in getting the job done. So any idea where the Indy Car finale will be now that China, Pocono and Texas have all said no? Other tracks mentioned include Chicagoland, Laguna Seca, Road America (though possibly earlier than the finale), maybe some other long shots like Phoenix as well. No clear picture at this point though. It's going to be a financial hit for someone involved most likely, given the short notice. Hopefully it's announced soon. I thought the last race of the season this year was back at the California Speedway? Are they bumping that race up a week and then making this new race the finale?

If they add a race to the end of the schedule it would most likely be after the race at Auto Club Speedway, making the replacement the finale of the season.

It really all depends on what tracks are available, willing to open up for what will likely be a low-attendance event, and what dates are available. Open weekends for the rest of the year before Fontana on September 15:
07/01 07/15 07/29 08/12 08/19 09/09

Rain has cleared out, track is dry, and they've started the engines. And they've started the Milwaukee 225.
Nationwide Series race at Michigan has been moved to ESPNNews while the Indycar race is still running on ABC

Ryan Hunter-Reay won in Milwaukee, his second win at the track with his first back in 2004. It's also his third win on a mile oval, with the other coming at New Hampshire last year.
Really good race. Read that Michael Andretti announced it's return for 2013, hope it continues to grow as an event.
Ganassi struggled overall for the second week in a row, with Rahal once again leading the team with a 9th-place finish. Dixon had a bad penalty called against him but managed to gain a point on Power in the championship, though he did drop to third with Hinchcliffe moving to 2nd place. Kimball finished a lap down in 17th, and Franchitti was the last car out of the race, crashing on lap 193.
Andretti Autosport did really well. James Hinchcliffe moved into 2nd in the championship standings with a strong 3rd place result, and of course Hunter-Reay led 84 laps on his way to victory, and is now 4th overall. Andretti finished 15th to continue what has become a lousy year.
KV Racing also had a good effort, with Kanaan finishing 2nd, Viso leading 27 laps on his way to a 5th place finish, and Barrichello finishing 10th.
Penske had a rough day much like Ganassi, with Briscoe going down a couple laps early in the race, ultimately ending up 14th. Power was never much of a factor all race and finished 12th, while Castroneves did lead 50 laps but had to settle for 6th. Power retains his championship lead but it has shrunk to 31 points over James Hinchcliffe.
Top-ten in the championship after Milwaukee: 1) Will Power, #12 Team Penske / Chevrolet, 274 pts 2) James Hinchcliffe #27 Andretti Autosport / Chevrolet, 243 pts 3) Scott Dixon #9 Target Chip Ganassi Racing / Honda, 239 pts 4) Ryan Hunter-Reay #28 Andretti Autosport / Chevrolet, 233 pts 5) Helio Castroneves #3 Team Penske / Chevrolet, 231 pts 6) Simon Pagenaud #77 Schmidt/Hamilton Motorsports / Honda, 216 pts 7) Dario Franchitti #10 Target Chip Ganassi Racing / Honda, 205 pts 8) Tony Kanaan #11 KV Racing Technology / Chevrolet, 200 pts 9) Ryan Briscoe #2 Team Penske / Chevrolet, 193 pts 10) Oriol Servia #22 Panther DRR / Chevrolet, 173 pts

Is it ironic that he wins with a Dark Knight Returns paintjob, and Bayne finished last?

Is it ironic that he wins with a Dark Knight Returns paintjob, and Bayne finished last? How about an Earnhardt driving a black and white car winning on fathers' day? Loved this: @theorangecone Cup points: 1 That bastard Kenseth 2 Our Hero 3 No one gives a rat's hairy ass 4 are you still talking about points? #nascar
