WTF was Shrub doing there on pit road after the finish? I tuned out after the Stenhouse interview so I might have missed something but he was caught in the wreck at the end and slid down there. I think he just said f*** it when it finally stopped.

Saw a pic on Twitter and it doesn't look like he had much control. Fluid everywhere and the front end was gone, again.

YA THINK? He's wrecked two guys already. If that were one of the Busch brothers, they would've been parked. He just seems to take one step forward and then 12 back. I cannot figure out why he's the one getting the Cup ride when Bayne is more than ready. Anyway, good for Kurt I guess. Stenhouse won the Nationwide Series title last year, that's probably the reason Roush is putting Stenhouse in the Cup series. Also consider that Bayne is driving for the Wood Brothers in Cup. Do we know if Bayne has a long-term deal with them?

Yeah, I kinda figured that NNS Title got him the ride but he's only been in a Cup car a handful of times and was kicked out of that 2 years ago and is returning to that form now. I think Bayne is only with the Woods because of Ford and RFR. If RFR called and wanted him in the 17/6 he'd be in it. I just cannot figure out why they don't move Bayne to the 17/6 given his experience and let Stenhouse go to the Woods for a season or two and get some seat time under him with up throwing him right in the fire.

Wow, AJ Almendinger has been temporarily suspended (no racing tonight at Daytona) for failing a drug test. He can have his second sample tested or refuse and be suspended indefinitely.
They are trying to get Hornish flown back from Charlotte but it is not sure he'll make it.

Franchitti's starting on the pole for the Indy Toronto tomorrow. He's joined on the front row by points leader Will Power, while Texas winner Justin Wilson and four-time Champ Car champion Sebastien Bourdais are in row two. Two-time IndyCar Series champion Scott Dixon and the winner of the last two races Ryan Hunter-Reay round out the top-six. Tagliani, Hinchcliffe, and de Silvestro all had a 10 spot engine penalty.
The championship contenders are starting 2nd (Power, leader), 5th (Dixon, 3rd), 7th (Hunter-Reay, 2nd), 8th (Castroneves, 4th), 9th (Pagenaud, 6th), and 19th (Hinchcliffe, 5th). All could potentially be in the lead after the race.
Row 1: Franchitti (TCGR) / Power (Penske) Row 2: Wilson (Coyne) / Bourdais (Dragon) Row 3: Dixon (TCGR) / Hunter-Reay (Andretti) Row 4: Castroneves (Penske) / Pagenaud (Schmidt/Hamilton) Row 5: Sato (Rahal) / Rahal (Ganassi) Row 6: Conway (Foyt) / Briscoe (Penske) Row 7: Kimball (Ganassi) / Servia (Panther DRR) Row 8: Hildebrand (Panther) / Tagliani (BHA) Row 9: Kanaan (KVRT) / Jakes (Coyne) Row 10: Hinchcliffe (Andretti) / Barrichello (KVRT) Row 11: Newgarden (SFHR) / Carpenter (Carpenter) Row 12: Andretti (Andretti) / Viso (KVRT) Row 13: de Silvestro (Lotus HVM)
Edit: More engine penalties

Hornish is racing right now. 50 laps or so in without a caution, borefest so far with the bottom lane being the fast way around. Truex is the leader.

Stewart cheated but at the bright side because Jimmie Johnson got wrecked tonight! The Hendrick cars are evil. I don't care if JR is son of the great Dale Earnhardt Sr but he is part of "Evil Empire" team.

Indycar at Toronto going on right now. Will Power leading at lap 16, Scott Dixon blew an engine early.
Dixon has used up his allotment of engines for the season, and will lose 10 places in the starting lineup for the next race at Edmonton.

Caution flag with 6 to go, as Josef Newgarden got blocked by Simon Pagenaud battling for 3rd, Newgarden was able to make the pass, but stalled the car to avoid hitting the tire barrier.
Ryan Hunter-Reay is leading with Charlie Kimball 2nd.
Hunter-Reay will be points leader after this race as Will Power cut a tire when his own front wing broke and lost a lap.
Edit: Pagenaud got a drive-through penalty for the block on Newgarden.
Another caution with several crashes as Sebastian Bourdais goes into the tire barrier in Turn 1, Ryan Briscoe and Dario Franchitti crash in Turn 3, and Marco Andretti, Pagenaud, and Ed Carpenter get together in another turn.
Ryan Hunter-Reay wins under caution at Toronto, and will lead Will Power by 34 points and Helio Castroneves by 46 into Edmonton.
It's also Hunter-Reay's 3rd win in a row.

Great win for Hunter-Reay, looks like it's going to be a battle between him and Power for the championship. Hunter-reay has all the momentum but Power should be strong at the next few races if he can avoid any more mishaps.
Great run for Kimball, really impressed with how he drove at the end, especially that sweet pass on Kanaan and Pagenaud at the same time. Should be great for PR too as he seems to be a media favorite.

Ryan Hunter-Reay is the 1st American to lead the Indycar points standings since Sam Hornish Jr. won the title in 2006.

I saw more of the end of the race (I was switching back and forth between this race and the British GP with more focus on the F1 race) and it seemed like a really good aggressive, but clean race. Pretty anti-climactic ending though. it'll be interesting to see if Power can bounce back in Edmonton in two weeks.
