GP of Alabama was an awesome race. Was really impressed with Marco Andretti, he was making some great moves. There was a lot of action the whole race and it was for the most part clean and exciting. Bourdais somehow gets Lotus into the top-ten, Barrichello gets a top-ten. NBC Sports did a much better job than ABC with race coverage as well.

Mercedes 1-2 in China tomorrow with Rosberg on pole and Schumacher second, promoted due to Hamilton's five place penalty for changing his gearbox. Vettel starts 11th.

Ryan Briscoe wins the pole for the Grand Prix of Long Beach, but after penalties will start 11th, with Franchitti leading the field.
Top-ten (before penalties): 1 - Briscoe 2 - Power 3 - Hunter-Reay 4 - Franchitti 5 - Viso 6 - Hinchcliffe 7 - Newgarden 8 - Castroneves 9 - Wilson 10 - Kanaan
Top-ten (after penalties): 1 - Franchitti 2 - Newgarden 3 - Wilson 4 - Pagenaud 5 - Dixon 6 - Sato 7 - Conway 8 - Rahal 9 - Kimball 10 - Tagliani
Without the penalties Chevrolet would have seven of the top-ten spots. With the penalties Honda has nine, and Lotus has one.

13 laps to go in China, and Jenson Button kinda stuffed it up with a poor pit stop. Nico Rosberg leading by about 20 seconds or so.

Will Power Wins the Grand Prix of Long Beach.
The 30 Second Penalty to Hunter Rhay was a bit unfair

Power is on a mission this year. After finishing 7th in the opening race, he went from 9th to 1st in Alabama and now from 12th to 1st in Long Beach. Incredible performances both times, and I have no idea how he possibly saved enough fuel for his final stretch today. Thought for sure Pagenaud was going to catch him, but he would have needed just one more lap.
Chevrolet continues to dominate despite the 10-spot penalty for all their teams this week: 1 - Power (Chevrolet) 2 - Pagenaud (Honda) 3 - Hinchcliffe (Chevrolet) 4 - Kanaan (Chevrolet) 5 - Hildebrand (Chevrolet) 6 - Hunter-Reay (Chevrolet) 7 - Briscoe (Chevrolet) 8 - Sato (Honda) 9 - Barrichello (Chevrolet) 10 - Wilson (Honda)
We'll see if Honda can turn things around on the ovals, cause Chevy is looking unbeatable on the roads and streets.

It's a good deal for everyone involved as far as I can tell. Dreyer & Reinbold and Bryan Herta Autosport go to the stronger engines, and now Lotus has a bit more breathing room in regards to supply. Hopefully it means they can turn it up a little, do some testing, and figure out how to go faster before the season is over.

So every week on Twitter, Jimmie Johnson gives away his race hat from that week's race to the 48th person to retweet a certain tweet he posts. I won for the Texas spring race.

Will Power makes it 4 for 4 for Team Penske and Chevrolet in pole positions, setting a new track record for Sao Paulo. Honda's turbo change seems to have helped as Chevrolet didn't dominate the qualifying this week. Lotus still sucks. Takuma Sato had to change engines and didn't put a time in during qualifying. Katherine Legge was the slowest of those who did at 107.910 mph (1:24.6042). The next slowest was Simona de Silvestro at 109.106 mph (1:23.4509), while Power's pole speed was 112.151 mph (1:21.4045).
1 - Will Power / Penske / Chevrolet 2 - Dario Franchitti / TCGR / Honda
3 - Scott Dixon / TCGR / Honda 4 - James Hinchcliffe / Andretti / Chevrolet
5 - Ryan Hunter-Reay / Andretti / Chevrolet 6 - Justin Wilson / Coyne / Honda
7 - Graham Rahal / CGR / Honda 8 - Mike Conway / Foyt / Honda
9 - Josef Newgarden / SFHR / Honda 10 - Ryan Briscoe / Penske / Chevrolet
11 - Marco Andretti / Andretti / Chevrolet 12 - Tony Kanaan / KV / Chevrolet
13 - Rubens Barrichello / KV / Chevrolet 14 - E.J. Viso / KV / Chevrolet
15 - JR Hildebrand / Panther / Chevrolet 16 - Charlie Kimball / CGR / Honda
17 - Simon Pagenaud / Schmidt/Hamilton / Honda 18 - James Jakes / Coyne / Honda
19 - Sebastien Bourdais / Dragon / Lotus 20 - Helio Castroneves / Penske / Chevrolet
21 - Ana Beatriz / Andretti / Chevrolet 22 - Ed Carpenter / ECR / Chevrolet
23 - Simona de Silvestro / HVM / Lotus 24 - Oriol Servia / D&RR / Lotus
25 - Katherine Legge / Dragon / Lotus 26 - Takuma Sato / RLLR / Honda
